Lake of the isles.  

Our club ise to help put out the luminaries "ice blocks with candles "

For the luminary loppet every yr .

So consisted of giving a young co ed from the U cross country ski team a ride on the back of your sled pulling a sled full of blocks and she would get off set the blocks then jump back on . Not bad way to spend a sat . On way  back to get more blocks was more of a brapp the shore line moat wanted to go faster faster .lol few were duds then you get back and need to take 5 then grab a diff coed lol

Back in the day I lived accross thecstreet from the canal between isles and Calhoun.  Got home after bar closing well filled up pulled the stand up out of the parking garage wheeled it over tossed it over the side did the whole  shore line of isles cedar and Calhoun at 230 am shit face drunk . I am sure now days that every cop in town along with the epa would show up.

It has been north of a decade but I have gone from lake minnetonka down 394 to the twins stadium down town minneapolis. smoked a bowl and back on to 394 . Sparks a flying under the parking garages the freeway goes under for 2 blocks lol . Will again before I am dead
