Well, today or tomorrow may be the end of riding season for me.

Started out warm and gray with flat lighting, then turned in to a bluebird sky day.

Sidenote, I have been wondering why I have had a odd pair of Klim pants floating around.  Cleaning out the race trailer the other day, found this in one of the cabinets.

all things considered with the weird weather patterns this season... I had a good year of riding and never left my part of the state to dodge the morons an hour north of here as a bonus.

How does the guy like the 600R for trail riding?

In 2007 took a IQR chassis and put a XCR800 triple in it.  Hated the sled for trail riding.  Pulled the motor sold the chassis and the pipes/motor mount and bought an IQ dragon for 2008

It’s a backup - he pounded his 2022 600 Renegade Ski-Doo through some really rough moguls and thinks he took a bearing out or something, it has a pretty good vibration after that section of trail.  He’s a former racer so he enjoys the 600r for a bit.  Sucks gas like crazy, maybe 6-8mpg.  The thing is simply too stiff for good trails… I rode it for a few miles last spring and I won’t put my butt on it again.

Well, Saturday was the end of the year.  About 85 miles between a local lake, the yard, and the playground.

2 sleds already partially stripped down for rebuilds.

Photo from the playground.

I thought I'd use the snowmobile this weekend to bring a deer stand out about 4-5 miles from the house.  Looking like a canoe might be a better choice now.  Pics are less than 24 hours apart

It's crazy how fast it went. My dad stuck a ruler in a few weeks ago and left it. He lost 7" of snow yesterday alone.

This was our yard last night and today.  The creek is normally 5-10 feet wide.

Thankfully there is not as much water sitting around here as a person would think considering how fast it went. Hopefully some of our soil moisture us getting replenished.

It was still pretty wintery just 10 day ago, I was trying to do some scouting but I was sinking to mid thigh in most spots and it was probably waist deep.  Now I am kinda screwed for getting this stand out

I took the Bearcat for a spin on Sunday and it was full snow cover. Now it's all bare except for the deep drifts and piles.
