This one has extension wings that fold up or down for the different widths of some trails.

Seen a couple of them in the UP.  Takes a some serious HP and traction on the groomer to pull when the pan is full.  👍

We currently do not have a roller but just talked again the other day about getting one.  Last year with the early snow being so light it would have helped a lot to get a base started

They are definitely an underrated tool in this area. For us it starts with rolling the swamps to start the freezing process. Any snowfalls from there on out get rolled until grooming equipment can be run on these areas.

Who's the pilot on that machine?

Was Bon Gaudreau's sled and Tom Earhart was the driver.  We had a radar run one year and it showed up to make some test runs by surprise.  Back in 1981/82.

The sled has since be restored to its original condition and is in a private collection.
