CFM
Yeh, sucks. Temps where seemingly good (low) many weeks ago, then went back to warmish. Teeze.
Gold Member 800renegaderider Posted December 11, 2020 Author Gold Member Share Posted December 11, 2020 Yup, I was hoping it wouldn’t be like the last however many winters for southern nh but looks off to not a great start
ckf
Have faith guys, it's still early. I recall having to wait for the Valentine's storm to get going years ago. We ended up riding in to April that year in the Ossipee/Tamworth area.
CFM
I’m down the street from there. Lol. My section of Lake Winni , (i’m just couple miles from castle in clouds) other than maybe 2-3 times in my 51 years, has been safe to use for skating/walking/sled rips/ Christmas-New Years. Water still open here now, even heing skimmed over few weeks ago.

The only things skimmed over are some of the smaller ponds.

Gold Member 800renegaderider Posted December 15, 2020 Author Gold Member Share Posted December 15, 2020 Better than nothing hopefully that jackpot spot moves north. I’m just happy it’s cold again.
CFM
Okay, good news for NH though. Here is our (carroll county) temps for next three days. Winds tomorrow should remove a ton of heat left in the ponds/lakes and the following overnight temps should get a good start on icing things up Edited December 15, 2020 by CFM
