Just got my insurance bill for my sled-  $35 to insure full coverage $250 deductible.  $17 for liability, 18 for uninsured motorist and collision.   I can see why MN riders don't bother to insure :news:

That's low like for a 500cc sled low. The more you up the displacement the higher it goes. I'll request a quote for my 1200 and see where it goes.

800 Pro S switchback.  TBH i was shocked it was that low.  10k sleds are usually around $200.  this ones got an agreed value of 6k.

We call it full replacement value...I have it on everything but my old ranger.

I didn't bother putting it on the  boys rev for the 10 days i owned it but usually something worth more than 5k i do.  daughters car will lose it this year and move to liability only i think.

got about 1100 miles on the season so far.  headed to Ft Kent for 4 days of riding in mid march which will be the end of the season for me but prob will end i close to 2k,  not  bad for not being back in till Jan 30th.  Buddies wife just rented herself a 900T renegade for that trip since her husband won't fix up her 99 XCR800 anymore.  i'd like to rip that a bit while i am up there as well. then i'll make a final buying decision or next year.  waiting for a quote on a Lynx Rave

Mike Petell has one at Profile

Any of you buttplugs plan on buying a Lynx?

One of the guys we ride with bought one and picked it up today.

When they introduce a 146 I will own one.  My Backcountry is too good and too fresh to trade in now, I'll run it another season easy.  :bc:

There’s three different models. 137,146, and 154.

Cant wait to hear the reviews...

no 146 for 2022,  the boondockers a 154/165., the rave a 137

I'm honest with how i want to ride these days and it's not in the trees so the 137 with the 1.5 ice ripper should be good for me.  Poo doesn't do an  ice storm so if i go matryx 137 then i will need to do a track swap.

So far the pros and cons list to me

Lynx-  suspension, seating position, seat -  cons are price and gauge

Poo-  seating position,  bars, gauge-  cons are softer seat than i would like, history says shocks need work, track

Being a cheap fuck what i should buy is a low mile 20-21 XRS gade with the 1.5 ice ripper XT and throw my current gps on it.

Up in Houlton ME. Got here around noon did 170 today. Trails are pretty good. Most was freshly groomed but was windy today fields were drifted a bit. Buds turbo cat that I’m riding has been running flawlessly for once knock on wood. Heading toward fort Kent tomorrow. Didn’t stop much for pics but here’s a few.

My dad was born and raised in Easton.   Where I learned to ride a snowmobile.  Plan on looping through there if weather cooperates    :bc:

It’s a beautiful area must have been fun growing up here. Definitely worth the trip through if you can get out this way. We went down toward millinocket today most of it was good couple sections of stutter bumps but nothing horrible.

Out working on the old 292 for a vintage race in a couple weekends.

Had to get the Tonya Harding out to beat an aluminum cross shaft out of the suspension, so that was fun.

The rest of the issues with it, we are just going to pretend we didn't see them...

Sweet! I still miss my wife's 2000 XC500SP

That motor kills ac and doo 600s of that era.

Love it!

That edge with the pss rear shock rides really nice as long as you don't beat it hard on wooped up trails.
