Big cities will continue to see lots of infection and death but for the most part we are getting ahead of this.

Perfect timing as the country begins to open back up for spring.

:news:   Imagine if California numbers were taken out it would look even worse.

I'm not trying to make any political statement posting this I just find the stats incredible.  13x's more deaths.

Yes. Good point for sure. Im glad this didnt go crazy like they said it would.

I dont know what to think about AK. It had to be how quickly the gov and mayor of Anchorage responded. No new cases in 5 days and no deaths in over a week. And they have averaged 750 tests per day during that time.

You’re probably right.

We have to figure a better way out of putting the information out to the public.

Cases going up each day means little without it being relative to how many people are being tested.

Deaths per confirmed cases does little when as much as 80% of the cases go untested.   It vastly skews the numbers.

The same is true with seasonal flu. 80% who have it show zero symptoms and they never get diagnosed.

Seems like the CV is turning out to be similar to the seasonal flu.

I'd like to see a link to how many tests were done. That would shed light on the ratio far better than just how many people vs how many cases.
