Sled Accident in Kaladar

We came upon a bad accident in Kaladar on Saturday. The guy was driving an Arctic Cat and left the trail, went down an embankment and hit a tree. He was airlifted to Ottawa.  Just wondering if anyone had any details.  Odot, anything you can share, is he OK?

Found these only. No other info available currently. I found a FB link/post as well but no one has commented about anything.

Yep, that is about all I got.  We pulled up around 2 pm. Police and Ambulance still on site.  The sled was still at the crash site, I took a quick look as I passed on the ride back to my place.  I was going to take a pic or two but they had a local guarding the site and I didn’t want to rock the boat. At the time we had no idea what transpired.  Hope he is recovering and OK.  Odot will likely have more.

It was on the north side of HWY 7, not the rail line. As you head into the bush, past the old restaurant and beside HWY41, swamp section beside the large trail sign, you begin a climb and start into the pines.  On top of the hill the trail sort of narrows and You come upon an off camber turn right in that area. Maybe 1/2 into the trail

After he was airlifted, the rider(in his late 50's) was stable and non life threatening.  No alcohol involved.  They had not ridden that trail before.  I SUSPECT but NOT confirmed that speed was a factor based on what I've read.  Be safe out there guys/girls...  Only takes one second of inattention.
