JFK, Reagan and Trump they all seen or see differently. Obama then proved this the case with his red line in the sand back down in Syria and the excessively weak and one sided Iran deal. Trump has been very clear on the preconditions and the NK's knew those before they met. I'm not sure why you are claiming there were no preconditions.
