that is a fantastic outcome. my dad and grandfather died from prostate cancer. dr told my brothers and i it's a matter of when. i get the psa yearly, just had it saturday, 1.5. under 4 is the target. i will admit that getting that test scares the shit out of me. glad you got it beat george . i ended up in urologist care from kidney stones. a good one can explain a lot of what's going on, and help with future issues.
It's amazing for 70 years I rarely ever got sick then bam. It's stressful at first but have gotten over the fear of doctors and the encouraging words from them helped. The surgeon did 3 scopes and biopsies to be sure and when he called today and said good news was a relief. He said to call him in a couple months and let him know how I'm feeling.

Awesome news! Congratulations and never postpone yearly checkups.
That's for sure! They've been fantastic here and amazing with how quick I get all the testing done.

Good to hear George.
Hope you're enjoying your new place.
Thanks! We're 2 months behind but seeing the progress. Tapers are doing their thing, siding is going on, kitchen is ready to be delivered/installed, painters are ready to come in and we purchased all the flooring. Little by little it's taking shape.

I have been battling prostate cancer for about 1.5 years. When diagnosed my PSA level was extremely high and after radiation treatment its down to 0.05 so basically cleared up. The radiation did alot of damage to the bladder and bowel area and they found a mass on the tail end of the prostate. They did a biopsy and then another and 2 weeks ago another and got a call from the surgeon a few minutes ago. It's confirmed no cancer for the 3rd time and the urologist and surgeon figure it's an ulcer caused by the radiation. I'm on the mend and taking it day by day.

Looking good George!👍🏼
Thanks! They're back on track again being a 2 man crew. Taper is starting to do his thing and more siding is going up today. We have a painting company lined up and once they're done the floors go down and the kitchen company can do their install. My main focus is the party room and garage lol. Waiting for my pooltable to be delivered and installed and putting up 1 or 2 dartboards and a card table. Lots of decorating as well as it'll be the hangout.

It's been a long road but getting there. Drywall is all done and being mudded/taped starting Monday. The painters start after that then the flooring goes down. The kitchen is ready to be installed and the rest of the stuff like the heat pumps and bathrooms etc. Hopefully by the end of May we should be able to move in.

We have a 2019 Maverick Sport 1000R ( 2 seater) and the things a blast. The trails are open year-round here and no use for a sled unless you want to trailer for hours to find good snow. I'll be putting in a heater and door panels and start using it in the winter. We have a trip planned late Aug/Sept for 10 days with 7 sxs"s to Newfoundland. We're trailering and unloading the machines and boarding the ferry and doing a big loop and back on the ferry. It should be a hoot with good friends

Slept on it and I can’t be quiet about the poor work. I don’t expect him to do anything about it but I’m not happy. Just sent him this message….
Hey man , I'm not going to go into the quality of the work you did on my table. It's pointless. I already took table apart and started pulling the felt last night. Between you cutting one of the end rails so short that the edge is exposed in the pocket and the giant glue stain in the middle of another corner pocket I have to replace this felt entirely. It is not reusable. I didn't have time for this and that's why I hired you. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.
That sucks! The guy that's doing the install for me is supposed to be good and from what I've heard he better be. I know what to look for when he's doing the assembly/cloth stretching etc and I'll be watching him from the getgo.

The wife scored 2 pallets of luxury vinyl flooring (3100 sq ft) at an online auction and after all said and done works out to $1.68/sq ft CDN. Our builder was there picking up some stuff he bid on and told her about it. Anytime money is saved is a good thing

Looks good! The builder asked me where the table was going and with the 1.5" Styrofoam under the sheathing he put in the pads for the legs.

What's the span of that beam looks to be a pretty wide area. Basement looks like it will be nice and cozy when done with the floors and the icf walls
The beam is 30ft long and the supports are integrated into the staircase so no exposed posts. The area is almost 30x 20 in that corner.

We had plenty of trails in our area and could leave right from the house. Town council approved road access to sxs"s to go into town just before the trail section that had homes and foot traffic that went by the beach. Atvs could use that part of the trail.
