  1. I know a guy with a t motion and it has dumped him a couple of times on the trails. To be fair he isn't the most "agile" fellow but it isn't the best setup for the flat lands lol
  2. https://twitter.com/GirkinGirkin/status/1496854488933715972?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1496854488933715972|twgr^|twcon^s1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fteambellypan.invisionzone.com%2Findex.php%3Fapp%3Dcoremodule%3Dsystemcontroller%3Dembedurl%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2FGirkinGirkin%2Fstatus%2F1496854488933715972%3Ft%3D0RfDYRSt1U0oQmmnLZHhYg26s%3D19
  3. It is hard for me to answer that. I am 3500 kms from Ottawa. I don't see the issues that are going on. There is lots of hate for the guy but too many people are on government handouts to make a real difference
  4. Trudeau said if if the emergency act wasn't passed, it would trigger an election. The NDP don't have the money for an election so they went the easy route.
  5. Here is a little background on the emergency act. The vid was posted right before it was invoked. The video is made by a Canadian lawyer. https://youtu.be/K3PAZDinO2o
  6. Unfortunately that usually doesn't happen up here. The government is currently being sued for banning a bunch of guns two years ago. They didn't even try and push it through Parliament. After the Nova Scotia shooting Trudeau came out and straight up banned a bunch of weapons with an order and Council. Basically invoked something that doesn't usually happen in Canadian politics to circumvent any form of democracy to get his own way
  7. This is really unfortunate, especially if your a firearms owner in Canada. This will be used to vilify ordinary firearms owners and try to take more of them away
  8. I was just back reading a little and the bold caught my eye. It wasn't all that long ago I too was very unfamiliar with Canadian politics. It wasn't until I got into firearms that I started to get involved and take notice. Some days I wish I hadn't. It was so much simpler when I was blissfully unaware of the dumpster fire lmao. My older brother in law is a guy who is still blissfully ignorant of 90% of it. Unless it affects him directly, couldn't care less. I have tired to talk to him about things and it goes absolutely nowhere. Not going to lie, I am a little jealous lol.
  9. I bet. It was a pretty big deal when the Anthony Henday was complete. A road worker when they finished use one of the electronic signs to say "we're done bitches" lmao. Right after it was complete all the local car clubs went out and started doing laps around the city.
  10. I usually avoid Edmonton unless I absolutely have to lol. Not a fan of big cities and lots of traffic.
  11. 95% of our politicians are absolute hot piles of garbage. Alberta is also weird because of Ralph Klein in the 90s. The guy literally sold everything that made the provincial government money and turned it all into private business gave the people a small check and they're still talking about him like he's some sort of magician today. Talk about short-sighted
  12. He's a two-faced politician like most politicians. He is an absolute piece of trash when it comes to a lot of things but then he'll pull some good stuff out like ending the mandates and shit like that. He is definitely an odd duck
  13. Lol. It will definitely be eventful. I was in the Edmonton area on Saturday and was unaware there were multiple convoys heading to the local legislature building. It was quite the sight. There were 3 or 4 meeting points so three or four separate convoys heading in. I was driving down the highway I started seeing cops everywhere and was trying to figure out what was going on. Ended up right in the middle of a convoy lmao. Up until that point I had only seen pictures. There were people on top of overpasses waving flags and honking horns. Tons of truckers and regular vehicles. Lots of people driving around town on a normal day with Canada flags in the boxes of the truck or on their Windows of the car. But other than that it has been pretty quiet where I'm at. I live about 30 minutes west of Edmonton on an acreage so I don't get much of the excitement or the noise
  14. Kinda. It gives the government the ability to strip civil rights from its citizens and bring in the military if it wants to. Trudeau says he won't bring in the military but time will tell on that one. For the emergency act to be allowed, he had to talk to all the provinces premiers and consult them. After it is enacted it becomes law immediately. But within 7 days it has to go through Parliament. If it doesn't win a vote in Parliament it becomes null and void. But the NDP and the green party are supporting the Liberals on the emergency act. So it will ultimately win and they will be able to do whatever they like.
  15. Like ace said, sort of. Back then it was the war measures act and he used it to quell a legit violent group of Quebec separatists.
  16. It started off great here. It was shaping up to be one of our best local seasons then 2 weeks of 7°c ended it all in a hurry.
  17. Jealous. Out here the snow is practically gone. Pretty sure the season won't recover but maybe
  18. I will leave the idle where it is at lol. Ugh. I just wish this thing would work right. I have been chasing problems for 3 years lmao. I love the IQ chassis but the M8 I used to own just plain worked lol. Even the wife's 07 crossfire 6 always works. If I didn't mind the payments for a severely deprecating asset, there would be an assault switchback in my truck right now lmao
  19. New caps and plugs and it fires up better and seems to run better but still low rpm idle (1400). Throttle is responsive
  20. Have new caps and wires coming. Should be here in 30 mins or so
