Nice! Did you get it sorted out or am I thinking about someone else?
No, that was me. It got sorted out when I was on my first trip out of town and about an hour into the ride a gear on the right side of the case decided to loose a couple of teeth and fuck up a lot of shit so I replaced it with a 2005 KLR with 10,000 miles for less money than I had into that KLR with 55,000 miles lmao.

I kinda want to get another one to just bomb around town and hit the gravel roads. My KTM is too much a dirtbike.
See above lol.
I have wanted to upgrade for a couple of years but it doesn't make sense money wise just for a but more power.

I have a couple of older sleds (2007-2008) that I have been trying to bring myself to sell.
Haven't even fired them up this year. Between lack of snow and lack of ambition I just can't be bothered.

I’ve seen -40 where everything seems to start fine if it’s plugged in. But also -40 or more where the only thing that would start was the old 380 formula S after about 15 primes, it was all it could do to get to get the track spinning off the ground and the seat was like a block of cement
not really sure how cold that was though because seem most gauges stop at -40
Been a bit of both this time. I have a 2001 Toyota Celsior (Lexus LS 430) that doesn't have a block heater or anything, not even room to put an oil pan heater, it started every time. Didn't like it but it did. Meanwhile the wife's 2004 Forester has a battery blanket and a oil pan heater and even though it rolls over fast, it will not fire.
I tried to fire up my old 1993 3.0 ranger plow truck and it wouldn't fire up either.

What do you want to know about it? I was the right age when those where all the rage in the early 2000's.
Pokemon is back in style now so potentially could be worth a couple of bucks if it is a real 2000 mew card. Probably not $1000's but maybe $100 or so? I haven't kept up with them while I do still have most of my collection when I was a kid.

Huh?
I doubt we are going back to covid gas pricing any time soon, but a guy can hope.
Miss the 80 cent liter days.
The only thing Joe knows about gas, is it sometimes comes out as a liquid and the secret service can change his diaper.
This is the fuel station I usually fill up about 20 mins west of Edmonton. Took this picture two nights ago.

These are fantastic podcasts to listen to. Gives historical context without today's conflict thrown in because it was done in 2015-2016.
Now the first one is only a 30 min podcast that directly connects with today's conflict.
The fear and loathing in the new Jerusalem is a 7 part, 20ish hour long deal that explains how we got to here, here being 2015

You could paint a thousand beautiful pictures and never be called an artist. But let one dick brush your lips and you are a cocksucker for life

I have/had it as well.
I bought it when it was on sale for $200 Canadian. Speeds were extremely meh for the $150 a month I was paying. Went back to my old provider that is definitely slower but at $50/month I don't care. In my area the cost just didn't justify the performance. I had a subscription for 4 months. Zero obstructions. I am 30 mins west of Edmonton Alberta.

Here is a really good podcast on the background of the conflict between Israel and Palestine. This podcast was put out in 2015-2016 so there is no bias from the recent escalation

2008 Polaris Switchback Dragon 700
2007 Arctic Cat Crossfire 600
I would be lucky to put 500 kms on between the two of them a year. Like Neal, kind of loosing ambition. Low snow years making it hard to ride to the trails and lack of owning a trailer doesn't help.
Still own them as I paid less than $3000CAD each so they really don't cost anything to sit there. Nice to have around when the nephews come out or the rare trip to BC if the opportunity/situation arises.

So is there zero need for people to own guns then? If only the irresponsible are using them?
Should be a statistic somewhere that shows how many times guns were legally used in self defense.
If I remember right, I think I heard something about the CDC removing self defense statistics recently.
Found this on fox news. So take it for what it is worth lol

Most of these mass shooters have displayed warning signs that were ignored by family and friends for years. Yes, some do slip passed unnoticed or suffer a mental break that blindsides everyone.
The answer still isn't to take away the right from the vast majority that still deserves or has earned it.
Per the numbers, this "mass shootings" pose a very small risk to the everyday person.
