  1. Sound like you could also give Tink a call for some friendly advise, if needed
  2. Nice write up, Tink! Sounds like a PITA though. I tried to find a "cheap" pump kit for pumping fluid into tight spots a while ago with no luck, I will have to have another look at PA.
  3. Do toy haulers require the annual safety seeing as it is a camper too?
  4. Someone converted an old school bus into a sled hauling vehicle.....I saw it years ago online, pretty cool. I wonder if you still need a B license to drive the bus!
  5. TC227 is a larger trailer, but I think it is rated for three sleds (not sure what size though)....4 must be a tight squeeze.
  6. As of late, 1000 to 1500 miles. My old norm was 2500ish miles....but loosing the riding circle that I used to ride with stopped that, plus kids, life, etc....
  7. I sometimes do....and not sure what dictates when or why I do. Likely when I am on a smooth trail, where control is a non issue. I really do think it is a waste, but I still find myself doing it sometimes....bad habits I guess!
  8. I could but rarely do....I rather trailer the distance to trails & conditions I enjoy riding on. And lake running around Simcoe no longer interest me.

His expenses must have come in cheaper, right ?!?!?!?

Interesting comment on the bold, do you have anything to substantiate that? Not doubting it, just with it being QC, I am very surprised.

Me too....buy and ride (hopefully). I read the same thing about 7 & 10.

Only reading the notes C&P above, sounds like bad feedback, but if it was passed by 70%+ of clubs, there must be something to it that lots of the clubs see value in? I can see where there concerns are with this though, seems like the clubs will loose their individual control/identity of their gear, machines, fundraising money, etc.... Maybe the ones that do not like it, are the clubs "hiding" things!

Are there actually any changes for this year, besides the colour of the permit?
  14. I'm not familiar with the brand you have, but if you compare it to other manufacturers selling the same trailer, are the axles located in about the same location?
  15. In the beginning I fogged....but stopped that a while ago, now start once a month.
  16. Great for young kids to boot around on!
  17. As it should be and should have been long time ago....since when is driving high as a kite acceptable over drunk! I know the majority of folks (that I know) will say they know when too or not too drive when smoking..... The other side of the coin is, what if you are on prescribed drugs and you fail the drug test, than what?!?!?!

Well, people always thought the OFSC was rather "liberal" with the permit dollars!
  19. Adding some weight should help, but really should not matter when towing a trailer. Level or nose slightly down is preferred for sure. Also, you drive a Ford.....that might be the issue, might be time for a real truck Congrats on the trailer too!

Well come on, that is the least we can do for all the volunteers.....through them an all expense paid party....lol

http://ontarioconditions.com/forums/index.php?/topic/16541-whos-going-to-the-agm/ I do not think you will see the same input here as before in regards to these sorts of things....

I wondered if you had much use for that place at the forest given that you are now not that far away. Are you still going to ride much in the forest, or at all?
  23. I do not think so. Not having power was not his choice, Hydro One did not complete the repair.....which is why he is paying the "delivery" charge, to ensure the lines actually work as we expect them too for what we pay the thieving bastards for! If Hydro One was going to take this long to restore the power, they should have removed the meter as a "common sense" protocol, or place his account on hold until they resolved the issue. Given that there has been a record setting number of complaints about Hydro One, if he insists to talk to management, this will be resolved....if he only talks to the sheep call center pylons, he will pay.
