  1. I followed a 2020 Indy Axys and the sled would bite on occasion, looked quite “tippy”. I bought an Indy Axys anyways after researching suspension setups. These sleds are very tunable. My buddy just bought and rode his Axys. I set mine up for riding style, rider weight, and riding conditions. The sled is phenomenal. Only thing I might change is ski carbides. I installed Studboy Duces but get some push in tight corners. I’m thinking of going to shapers. Bottom line is that sled is not “tippy”.

  2. This is way bigger than petty liberal vs conservative squabbling in the USA. It comes down to conventional weapons capability. If anyone exersizes a nuclear option then it won’t matter. The superpowers will turn each other into dust.

  3. Ukraine is just the tip of the iceberg. Imagine both Russia and Chine simultaneously seiezing other nations. It would be too overwhelming for the entire west let alone the US. Russia has its eye on several countries like Ukraine and the Baltic states. Chine wants absolute possession and control over SE Asia. Hong Kong is only a start. Wait till they seize Taiwan and Tibet for starters.

World war is a lot closer than you may believe.

  4. The jury is out still for me on wind and solar farms. You as a consumer are still at the mercy of a large corporation. My plan is for personal solar with battery backup and a propane powered generator for those rare times I may need it. As a final option I can go full primitive and heat my house and water with my wood burning stove. I have 40 acres of woods to harvest dead falls…my supply is way more than my demand.

  5. I can tell you this, from looking at the photos this kid was not “one of the beautiful people “. I remember high school, one of the worst social settings ever. Adolescent hormone driven brains with zero compassion for others,  especially those not in their click, or interest group like sports. I’m not making any excuse for the shooting in any way, but there always is a cause. This kid was all but waving a flag of his intentions. The school and parents really dropped the ball.

  6. “Greenies”. I just love that term. It’s assumed anyone going electric is a “tree hugger”, lol. For me personally, I just don’t want to be at the total mercy of the petroleum industry. That being said, that Tesla or whatever EV car I buy will be parked right next to my 1 ton Silverado diesel. It’s a great truck that hauls and pulls as good as any and way better than most.

Gas/diesel isn’t going away anytime soon. But you will pay whatever they demand with no negotiation. Wear your underwear backwards cause that’s where your going to take it.

Was a week or 2 ago on the News.

I’m also waiting to see what they actually bring to the market as far as full electric pickups. The Ford Hybrid gave a bit of sticker shock with MSRP of $71,000 and it only a hybrid…The next 2to 3 years will be very eye opening for pickups…if I can wait that long. Electric cars are here right now!  If it weren’t for long ass winter, the motorcycles I own would buffer the gas / diesel outlay.

What was the new EV auto that was on the news recently, said it costs less than 1/2 of a Telsa and can run 400 miles between charges.

    I’m all ears.

Diesel truck and tractor.  GREEN all the way.  LOL.

Green is nice, but not my stated priority. Being self sufficient energy wise and not being susceptible to energy industry and fuel companies price gouging is paramount. Personal Solar is very feasible to accomplish that. Drilling my own oil well and building a refinery in northern Wisconsin isn’t.

  9. My array will be south facing on a tall pole barn with roof and trusses designed to accommodate the solar panels   I’m an 40 acres and trees or any other interference except for clouds will be non existent. Thanks again for the info. The Tesla Model3 is real high on my list. Right now my average energy bills, natural gas, electricity, and diesel for the Silverado is around $750 a month, every month…that will buy a lot of solar!  In 5 years right now that’s 45k. The quote for. 12kwh system is $180 a month. That’s $10,500. Cost savings will alone pay for the Model 3.

Fossil fuel free enough during there use though.  Maybe tires every now and then and rubbery compound of wiper blades need some oil but all vehicles need those.  It’s the excess oil need that is eliminated.  Oil could go to $1000 a barrel and it will have minuscule effect on energy needs for my house or transportation

Bravo. Energy independence starts at home…literally. What is your storage as  in batteries?  What type and total stored amps are you using. Thanks for any info.

  11. I’m installing a 12kw solar array  on my plow barm when I build my retirement residence this summer. This will power and heat my modest 1000sq ft home and charge a Tesla Model 3 with 265 mile range. Cost is $180 a month fixed for 20 years and I’m self dependent. Gas will only be needed for toys and diesel for my tractor and diesel pickup that would be used only when really needed.

  12. You can cry the boo hoo blame game, or you can take charge of your destiny. My new pole barn is getting a solar array to power my house and charge my car…I’d like to see opec or anyone else turn off the sun. All my gas powered toys will find a way to be kept filled to enjoy as I please…didn’t work all these years for nuthin.

  13. Most or these get into general areas filled with everything under the sun via rail. Ones that are decommissioned are sold at auction to dealers. Price is good old supply and demand. When out west the main highways follow the main railways and you’ll see trains that are amazingly long with double stacked containers making their way to all areas of the country.
