  1. My '14 ZR 8 Suzuki was excellent, with the exception of the tri-hub and its aftermarket replacement. My '20 ZR 8 has been flawless (knock on wood) with the exception of the shitty stock fuel mapping. Flashed it and it's much better. Otherwise normal maintenance and it runs great. I'll ride it for another year and see what's out there then... Maybe a turbo something, who knows?!
  2. Something to consider is that during the heights of Covid, people weren't getting screened, going to regular appointments, having bloodwork, etc. Many were hunkered down and put off colonoscopies, breast exams, and generally paused things because everything was so focused on Covid. Now, people are starting to go to MD appointments again and resume "regular" screenings, so I think it's to be expected when there's a rise in cancer, autoimmune, and all kinds of other diagnoses.
  3. Some cancers can be, and are often cured, but many are not. In my experience, every single one of the doctors, nurses, medical assistants, CNAs, social workers, etc would want nothing more than to "cure cancer". There are plenty of other things out there that people need healthcare for and plenty of other ways to make money on them.
  4. Glioblastomas are nasty. Had a respiratory therapist at the hospital that had one. He didn't last very long. My half sister had one and had surgery and some experimental treatment. She's still here after a little over 3 years, which is unheard of. My dad died of non-small cell lung cancer in 2012. He lasted about 11 months after diagnosis. He was 6' 4", 230 lbs in the beginning and got down to about 170lbs when he died. The list of family and friends goes on... ABSOLUTELY FUCK CANCER.
  5. Cancer cells aren't recognized by the body because they're the body's own cells that have mutated in a bad way. I was a cancer center RN for 5 1/2 years. Gave lots of chemo and said goodbye to a lot of really good people. I saw quite a few kick its ass too. MANY different kinds of cancer out there. Had a mild form myself a few years ago. Lots of cutting edge treatments that are much more mild than chemo.
  6. Have been meaning to get back out the last 2 years, just haven't made it. Lost all 3 of my golf partners (dad to cancer, buddy to suicide, & wife is in a wheelchair from MS) and haven't played in about 10 years. Actually hit the range last fall and it felt good. I used to enjoy the hell out of it though, with drinks of course! Maybe this year.
  7. What can I say, I like the green and black!!! The PC is a good looking sled... for her age!
  8. That's a really nice looking sled!
  9. Great pics, thanks for sharing! I'd love to have the Exciter in the background too.
  10. Short answer is "NO". There are NO democrats that won't try and raise taxes.
  11. Damn!!!! Looks like a free air? I had an '84 (same as '81) with twin pipes... Loved that sled! I wish they'd go back to graphics like that. Different shades of green against black. Classy and nostalgic!
  12. It's been awhile, but I think the diagnosis was wrong. He's still with us and happy as can be. Gained weight and waiting to go swimming again! Not complaining a bit!
  13. I'm a believer. You can chastise me for it and call me all the usual names, but that's the way it is. The life experiences I've had have only reinforced my beliefs. That being said, A LOT of horrible things have been done in the name of religion, and I detest that. However, what's true for me is true for me. Everyone has to make up their own minds. I'm not one to criticize people for their positions on religion either. One exception I will make to this is whoever the fuck J. Ramstad is and his belief in AC! He makes my state (MN) look worse than it already does, and makes me cringe at riding my Cat! WTF?! Just wanted to throw that out there...

  15. Needs some monster and studboy stickers! Mint! And I'm a Cat guy!!!
  16. Many patients take their first look at a hospital bill, only to go into sticker shock. A single aspirin for $25? Newborn diapers for $100? Why is it that products we purchase for pennies at the local drug store end up costing so much more in the hospital? The culprit behind these high costs is our reimbursement structure. Public programs do not fully pay for the cost of care. The latest figures estimate that hospitals lose $35 billion a year on Medicare, Medicaid and other forms of government reimbursement. For specific procedures, the picture can be even bleaker. Take note, because this money isn’t lost – you pay the difference. Unable to absorb these losses, the bill gets passed to commercial insurers and employers that purchase health plans for their employees. Hence the itemized charges of $25 for an aspirin or $100 for diapers that are paid by insurers today, and by you and me tomorrow in the form of higher premiums and co-pays. And it’s only going to get worse as our population ages and more of us call Medicare our insurance provider. www.healthcarefinancenews.com/blog/why-aspirin-taken-hospital-can-cost-upwards-25 To add to this, those that consume healthcare services without insurance and any payment at all are also a factor.
  17. Ummm... April fools again...
  18. Shitty in MN as well. Drink sounds good about now.
  19. If you read the original Carbuzz link, it says April fools right at the top. If you read your last link, it also says it. I hope it's an April fools joke, but it would suck if it's true.
