Heck I pulled trail signs yesterday as some farmers are out starting to work the fields. Sure looks good.

475 miles on the Catalyst. Mine is a pretty good runner up to 80. Gonna wait and see what Tim and Terry come up with for some clutching. I go 270 so I'm going to need to get the shocks revalved. Waiting for backordered FTS spring to come in.

What's the difference between the base G8 and the premium G8. I also bought from Hanksters have bought a thing or two from them in the past.

Anyone try the FTS Raptor spring on the 137? Seems the 2904-229 spring is unavailable right now.
-
Makes me wonder I have a stiffer spring I got from Fett Bros for the viper sitting in the garage. Wonder if that will fit.
-
Well it looks like we will have plenty of time to work on these.

325 miles on sled now trails were set up good last night. Hit 86 mph and pulling 8200. Seems to be getting a bit stronger but it could just be how the trails were set up.

Are you referring to the front TRACK shock spring? Mind if I ask what your weight is dressed and riding? Which Catalyst you running ? Big hit as in it feels like its bottoming out? Or?
Yes front track shock spring. I'm 270 kinda knew going in this may be a problem. ZR 137. I would bottom on my Viper on some of the same shit.

Was -10 to -5 yesterday saw 8300 rpms once pulls hard to 80 and starts to lay down. Otherwise a pretty good ride think I will have to do something with the FTS maybe a different spring for my weight. I would take a big hit on some field crossings.

Thanks for update.
Got an imbalance in the clutching with that much dust! So these sleds have a big helix angle compared to years past I’m sensing and reading. Usually when we go to steep big helix we need way less weight in primary and way more spring in secondary. Just food for thought. By going to a softer secondary spring you could be making it worse with the big stock helix. . I have no miles on mine but it sounds like clutch work will be a need once again from a stocker Cat sled. I do have a slightly softer secondary spring but going to try stock with the exception of the heavy hitter weights I put in.Is the 0744-080 the right clutch puller to get for the Adapt. Will be watching to see what everyone is doing. I will try and see what Rpm's are today out of break in should get a 100 miles in easy today.

Ok thanks.

Have a hanging idle on the new machine. Its about 5- 10 seconds. Is this normal on this 600?
-
Regular ZR and mine is not shifting all the way, about 1/4" or to top of primary. By the way the sport gauge sucks. Cannot see temp or hand warmer settings very well. High beam indicator as well.
-
I was just noticing how close the clutch guard is. Not sure if my fat hands will fit in there without getting cut up.
-
Does your drive belt fell overly tight? Buddies ZR seems real tight.
-
It sure looks easier than the procross. If the rotor comes off that easy will be nice to grease that bearing then.

They both have the 7S. Was looking for a 650 but for the price I will just do the 850 if I decide to go that way.
-
Can get a decent deal on either one. XCR is about 500 less. I go about 260 and like to ride at a decent pace. What is the real difference between the 128 and 129? Thanks
