Resurrected a sled last night. 95 cougar, buddy is trying to fix up this sled for his nephew. This thing had 2 feet in the grave already and was surely destined for death. Sitting for years. Issues with ignition coil, recoil, and the carbs were basket cases, plugged jets, stuck float valves, etc. Got everything fixed with parts on hand and this thing was the surprise of the year. I always dismissed these sleds because I don't like the way they look. But this thing ran so good, sounded so good, and it freaking RIPS. We were ripping this thing up and down the trail last night at 2:30 am. We couldn't get over how good it sounds and runs and performs. So cool. It seems to ride really nice too. It makes me want to find a cougar and keep it up at the farm. I'd love to take it on a real trail ride.

Uggg no good. The long weekend warriors are up here and after this evening ride I probably won’t ride the rest of the weekend until they leave.

They were equal body size as me so it was a good test. They kept asking if my sled was actually a 600. Doing a 70 mph stomp down with my cousin’s 800 etech earlier this season we were right next to each other all the way to top end. Last year that sled killed mine over 70. I have seen a substantial improvement over stock.

My 600 is giving 858s and 850 Polaris’s fits corner to corner right now. Even in the few field trails.
