  1. My latest box of parts arrived Saturday morning just before I was going out to ride so I haven’t used them yet.
  2. To give everyone an idea how much global warming has reduced snowfall here in NY, that picture is taken on a seasonal road, the stop sign behind the guy in red is a standard road stop sign, the normal height off the ground.
  3. Road about 120 miles yesterday. Not many people out riding on a Saturday. I have road about 500 miles so far this season and this is the first ride over 100 miles this year.

  15. Still on the same mod sled they picked up a few years back.
  16. I would agree. The stock air box acts like a big plenum to pull air from. An air reservoir of sorts. Without that and pulling from a long hose, that's going to decrease power substantially. If you can't run an air box I would just put some filters on the carbs.
  17. my gut reaction is that those carbs aren't going to be happy with that intake. remember the air isn't a constant flow, it is a series of pulses that are stopping and starting.
  18. With the poor turnout, I'm half tempted to build one for next year if they do the class again. Already found a SRX600 for $1200.
  19. What if they are running a chaincase on it?
