  1. Dubuque IA day 2 it's MUD down in the toilet bowl, idk how they can even see unless you are in the lead Pro-Lite H1 Lieders / Todd / Forst --- nice work old man! Pro-Lite H2 Bester / Lorenz / Freeland Lavallee has their clutching dialed Pro-Lite H3 Scheele / Downs / Ogemar Pro 3X Crown-1 Ishoel / Kamm / Lebel -- Harr went off the track while in 3rd at the end. Ishoel... officially a 5 time champion Pro-Lite H4 Lieders / Freeland / Pake -- the old man takes two! Pro-Lite H5 Bester / Daudt / Forst Pro-Lite H6 Mikalsen / Posti / Hoelsaeter Pro 3X Crown-2 Ishoel / Kamm / Harr -- tippy SkiDoo's were dropping like flies Pro-Lite Final Freelund / Bester / Lieders -- yellow flags everywhere, Andy led almost the entire race, then dumped it in the toilet bowl... and even more tippy Doo's broke down all over the track than the Pro class. Pro 3X Crown-3 Kamm / Ishoel / Harr -- Lebel 4th again Pro 3X Crown points winners Ishoel / Kamm / Harr Final season points for Pro...were close. Next season should be exciting. I think everyone is happy this event and the season is over. Great job to ISOC, the racers and teams and to the production crew that puts it together to watch from the comfort of my living room.

Tampa almost sure to make second round now
  3. That would be good for me. I find myself there a few times a year since I have changed back to Tom as my dealer of choice. Make a trip out to see Tom, one to see the Fowler folks, and maybe hit up to race track too.
  4. Old 8" carbides for the 80's Yamaha leafer skis, so for the Enticer. Good deals on studs though.
  5. I guess it probably is. Already lining up a second order. They have the track clips I needed for cheap, $0.77/clip. I think they are like $4 a clip right now elsewhere. They also have 1,570 of them. Scored up a set of obsolete carbides I've been looking for too.
  6. Yup. Totally agree. While up to my in laws place, a month ago, our friends/neighbors up there asked me if I wanted to go on a “guys ride” later in the afternoon that day. I agreed. I’m riding with two Assaults. One 850 with a 1.6 cobra and the other was. Boost with a 2”. Fourth sled was a Riot 146, didn’t even pay attention to the track. I had my 129 Indy that has a Rip2 on it. We end up back in these gas well areas where there’s some hills, only about 20-30” of snow. None of these yahoos could hardly pull a line and all they are doing is running up and down the hills. Even had a couple of them stuck. I didn’t have a problem and spent a lot of my time on my seat because it was so lame. They kept saying to me “show off” and “when are you going to take us UP back country riding to show us what’s up?” Yeah, um, like never? If you’re struggling in less than 3’ of snow, in the open, and you’ve been riding all your life, you need to just stick to trail riding then. Off trail riding is in fact more than just how much track or ski stance you have. These guys were logging road only guys. Which is fine if that’s what you want to do but it’s not what I drag my SKS to the UP for. I’ve had two. Even spent a bunch of time trying to make the first one into a mini RMK (SKS 146) Still not going back. They are not great on the trail and they are mainly a logging road sled off trail. Get them in the trees, gulleys, etc, and you’re fucked.

Best part is the plastic is actually composite and looks great on the sled, unlike the over priced 7s that is stuck with the sled, the Garmin is transferable. Use it on my wheeler for trail riding.

The way that’s mounted, did it break off when you crashed? 😂
  13. Yeah I get it. But with my personality I wouldn't be happy with the trail riding for the one part of the day. And if the offtrail on the way home was fun terrain I'd also be wishing I was on something better suited. I would just know it could be way better. It's hard to unsee something. Even if the crossover is 80% as good on the trail and 80% as good off the trail. That sounds pretty good but if you like to push those limits on dedicated machines, 80% sucks.
  14. I'm guessing this 137 you're talking about was a trail skid. Don't get tricked into only looking solely at track length. The skid type makes way more difference than the length. My 141 float may sound like it'd do about same as a 137 but it's not even in the same league as any trail or crossover sled. The 141 is way way better than cats 146 riot skid in snow. Like I said the only reason I'd want longer is for real climbing where you want to stay flatter. The times I've gotten stuck was from doing dumbass stuff and getting into bad situations and I would've got stuck with anything then.

Catalyst will win all three SOTY awards and sweep every podium in every type of race there is in 24. Poo and Doo have no chance. Once that 600, with an 800 crank, hits production state even the turbo 850's will get shown what's what. So fast and powerful textron will scrap any idea of ever needing to launch a big bore option. So fast dumstad will crack his brainless melon once again riding across a wide open lake with nothing else around him. This time at hyper speeds exceeding 30mph.
