first thing that came to my mind was, white guy, retired, las vegas, gambling debt.

First thing I thought when I saw his pic was, "Wonder if someone's missing from FS this morning."

There are reports that he some big gambling transactions recently. The report didn't say losses or gains.

interesting. people lose there collective minds over gambling loses. usually they just kill themselves and maybe a few family members, but occasionally they do externalize the pain. same with losers in the stock market. people can get really nutty over money.

Maybe the 5G powered MK Ultra stuff is extra effective on those in these helpless positions.........

At what point do you Americans think its time to get some gun control and make some of these guns illegal?  I'm not talking hunting rifles but the fully auto stuff like the one used here?

Ban them all today does nothing. Too many out there already.

I'll bet this wasn't a "full auto" weapon....I bet it was a mod,   If he had access to full autos, he had access to suppressors also which,  are both illegal unless you have proper docs.

To answer you though... never.  It can't be done here.

Maybe.  Ben wouldn't have killed himself at the end though (assuming that's what REALLY happened).  I see him going toe to toe to the death.  I'd be disappointed in him if I was wrong.

Amazing that in a matter of just hours they were able to conclude that this wasn't ISIS related, yet its been what 9 months or so and they cant conclude that Trump never colluded with Russia  :dunno:

The fact you think I believe God is behind this tells me everything I need to know about your perception skills. Dude, you're batshit.

well let me rephrase things a little....you think this is some sort of rapture event, forecasted by many nutjobs. my MIL always tells me god is in complete control, hence the "god to blame" statement. you and her are a lot like. except she doesn't practice this stuff and then technically sin all week, like others :news:

bullshit. this wasn’t a complicated attack in the least. where do you guys come up with this stuff?

No shit, this was about as easy as it gets.

I hate to use this analogy, but it was pretty much like shooting fish in a barrel.

The shooter could have help that's to be determined. But a lot planning went into this., book the room weeks in advance, where the room should be located for best view. Prepare, transport and set up fire power. That's just not done without pre-planning an attack.

I was thinking you, Momo, Mach, possibly Ben.

Me?  No.  This was shoddy, make shift work.  And completely the wrong prey.  Smarten up!

i don’t know what it was about. i said gambling loses was the first thing that crossed my mind as a possible factor.

Gambling issues being a possible factor never even entered my mind..  Seems a logical choice would be to take out casino workers if that was the case.  This was motivated by something else.  And I'd be willing to guess we all pretty much know what it is.  "Triggered".

This isn't about gun control. He used an illegal weapon.

That being said no one needs a full auto machine gun.

I don't think any of them were illegal...were they?

I already used it, and didn't feel one way or the other about using that analogy.  Why do you?

how many weapons can you break down and place in a large suitcase? ammo? hotels of this size are huge. rarely are they booked to capacity. the guy lived nearby and was familiar with the area. this wasn’t a complicated deal like 9/11 or OKC. any person with an IQ above dull normal, knowledge of the area,  and a charge card could plan and carry this out within a few hours. .
