So we have Charter Cable Bundle which includes TV, Internet, and phone and they are jacking our rates up again so what are my options other than satellite? We could just keep Charter Internet which is fantastic and find another option for television.

I usually call and tell them I can't afford an increase. If they won't budge I tell them i need to schedual a time for them to come pick up their equipment, rate has stayed the same for the last 8 years. Some money is better than no money to them, you just can't go off on them or they won't work with you. Goodluck.

I used to have a really good credit card from capital one.

For like 10 years I would have to call and get the 20 dollar/year charge taken off...but they would do it..and I always paid the balance of every month.

Used to get all kinds of air miles and cash back.

Charter is worse than Comcast IMO. When we moved last year we had to switch to Charter...ended up hating it and the rate hikes. Switched to satellite for the first time ever and it's cheaper but we did keep the Charter internet
