I'm the same way, would much rather do my own work when and where I can. I was showing my wife the oil that I had poured into my jugs. I poured a bit out into a plastic tray to show her how dark/used it was. I have seen dirtier oil but there is a zero chance this oil was changed by the dealer just 200 km's prior to us picking it up. irv
Well, I got the car Krown rustproofed, new Husky floor liners/mats front and back, new molded mud flaps, snowies and rims, the windows tinted and yesterday, I gave it a coat of wax. Glad I was able to get all this done before it got too cold and snowy as I should be good until the spring now. Momma is still on cloud nine with her new car. She absolutely loves it, as do I.

stealth bomber
Ah man, you didn't paint the wheel hubs. Now they're going to rust and look like shit by spring time. Sorry. That's just a pet peve of mine. Great looking car.

I did smear a bit of grease/Rust Check on them, however, to help stop the rust and the wheels seizing on there though. Thanks.
