My aluminum trailer looks like new....

But the frames cracked....my steel ones are not cracked. :bc:

Yeah, cracked frames is a concern of mine.  I don't want to have the trailer break apart in buttfuck nowhere or the middle of the rez or something.

Bought my claim shell new in 05. It's stored inside and still looks great.

I've been sledding almost 30 years and I'm on my third trailer. I keep them 10 or more as well. But I don't use them as much as some. I ride out of the garage mostly.

I've only had to fix the first one, R and R junk. I just buy Triton now, all aluminum.

I get my sled trailer safetied every year. Never had any cracks.

My little steel enclosed however is currently braced together with self tapping screws. Frame needs to be completely rebuilt.

Good price....tires are usually 600+ alone....full backing plates are usually at least 50 bucks apiece....then labour....

Well yeah....same way here!

Also surprised at number of issues involving the rubber pad/gasket  not being installed between the steel axle and aluminum frame. :pan:
