Are they going to put that 3.0 diesel in an F250?

I'd be more interested in that than the 6.7.

I went to 6.2's for my work trucks which work well, other than the mpg's.

No

Compared to the 5.3 and 5.0 the Hemi is a beast.

All 1500s in reality are grocery getters compared to 15/20  years ago.

They are cool little cars. My son started off looking for a WRX but the prices are ridiculous in the used market. Then he moved to GTI's but we never found anything we liked and they are known to be expensive to repair and short on life expectancy.

AWD would be nice but he only had so much money to spend anyways. RS has that and the bigger motor. Too bad they cant keep the head gaskets in them.

AWD ST would be way cheaper than an RS

@SVT Renegade XRS, did you ask the guy?

Yes I did, but he was by himself Saturday and had other deliveries to do and customers on the floor.  I didn't want to keep him long and told he we could talk about it on Monday.  I will call him in the morning. I have a couple questions to ask him anyway and some info to give to him for the the guy who he's selling my old truck to.  I didn't forget about you Alfred :bc:

1500 are like cars now. I don't care about ratings.

If you want a reAL truck you need a 3/4 +.

I have a 1 ton dually.....it is overkill for most things other then towing my 14 k + toyhauler...a 3/4 ton is useless these days a half ton will suffice except for the dodge half ton.

I think going with the 3.5 instead of the Ecoboost in the Exploder was probably the good decision that followed the bad decision.

The eco boost is good if you dont tow....it tows good but is way to hard on fuel....6 to 8 mpg is just not acceptable imo.

I doubt any of the other half tons would have got much better with what you were pulling.... :news:
