he's somewhat correct,  southern Maine runs more liberal than central and northern and is where almost all the economic activity is.  theres a reason the mainers call that area northern MA .

Most big cities with the most economic activity are democratic politically. Not that I think that makes any difference. Most red states are economic waste lands with huge gaps in wealth. You have really rich people and really poor people. In the blue cities you have a pretty strong working class (middle class).But also, shitloads of corrupution.

Cutting state taxes put the burden back on the cities and towns. They increased their taxes and guess what? No one saved a dime.
