smokin george
We've been using a brand name deck cleaner/ sealer for years and decided to try Activox deck cleaner. The front porch hadn't been done in 10 years and was pretty grimy. I must say it come out pretty good and the rear deck is next week's to do.

I used to use the pressure washer on our old deck and tried it with a bristle broom this time. This stuff took all the caked in stuff off pretty good and wasn't blowing it all over the place like I would've with the washer. It is definitely caustic and wasn't sure if it would bleach the siding

Sksman
Pressure washer also very hard on wood. Even if you try not to spray too close it still cuts in a bit.

smokin george
We have a neighbour that had a new log home built. Company told him to use Activox before staining and they said it worked great. I just picked up 2 jugs for the back deck.
