Classic! The phone cops episode is another really funny one as well.

WKRP was a great show. I watched it over and over on reruns. Strange how it never found an audience until it was syndicated.

The Turkey drop and Phone cops were great episodes.

Del's Stereo Store, Rip Tide/Gotta Dance, The Russians, the Drinking test, The Who Concert. All very memorable.

Or how about the one where the heat was off and they all got drunk.

Watched the first episode of Altered Carbon.  Very good, an excellent cross between the Peter F Hamilton Commonwealth rejuvenation ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commonwealth_Saga ) and warring of Corey's Leviathan Wakes ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leviathan_Wakes ).  Excellent graphical and visual work.  :bc:

Good find.

Altered Carbon gets better and better.   Loads of T and A, many tiered plot, excellent action, very good visual work.  I'm impressed. :bc:

Caught a new show last night about a dude that rehabs old barns in VT. It moves fast enough that it is not boring. And no fake drama.

What was the show called?

Backyard goldmines.

This one was in wardsboro. If you punch in wardsboro on google maps and magnify it all the way in to street view you will see a small green barn. That's the one he did on this episode.

I've lived here 5 years and still don't know the names and locations of a lot of VT towns.

This is my biggest issue with "reality shows"! I want to punch the guy that does the commentary...

"so and so has to change this hubcap in 5 minutes, or they will miss the car auction! If his screwdriver slips, he could stab himself in the throat and bleed out on the floor!"

(Bet most of y'all read that in his voice )
