Capitalism cures poverty

Too bad those are the outliers and not the norm.

Can't say the same for Communism.

Capitalism kills around 20 million a year, so I'd say it's a norm of authoritarianism, period.

Nope. False Dichotomy says what?

Lol. They're being paid to share their personal property. Because capitalism won't sustain them without them sharing their personal property.

There is no better system until the human race evolves to the point where corruption would not become an issue that turns communism into a dictatorship that strips the wealth out of the nation and hoards it for the select few that run the party. that is what we see in every single country that is or was communist. We are no where near ready to share the wealth of the world and feed everyone. Americans throw away enough food every year to feed all of Africa for five years, and yet there are still people starving in america. that is not because America is a capitalist society, but because by nature humans are tribal, greedy, and uncaring.

It is absolutely due to capitalism. Human behavior is a result of conditions, change the conditions and you change the behavior. Stop creating false scarcity to maximize profit and people will share freely.

We have the capability, as you point out, just not the desire. We've been conditioned by capitalism to be selfish and greedy because capitalism relies upon scarcity for it's existence.

Competition is the law of the jungle, cooperation is the law of civilization.

This is another personal attack that has shit to do with the discussion.

You fucks suck at debating ideas, you always bring it down to the personal level.

And then you fucking wonder why you should get the fucking wall.

I'm not allowed to criticize the current system while I'm benefitting from it?

Can you explain your fucking logic, please?

North and South Korea.   It can't be any more clear than that.   Great post.   Now one particular fella will come on and say will Communism without authoritarianism can do the same.   No it can't, there will ALWAYS be a certain amount of authoritarianism in any stable society.  Problem is communism and socialism just so happen to have way more in order to work because human nature if for people to want more for themselves and their families.

Do you think the economic sanctions placed on North Korea have anything to do with their situation? China is a communist country so if you are hailing the merits of that I think you and the jew in the video need another example.

Technically China is State capitalist just like the United States. In China, government runs the businesses. In the United States, businesses run the government. six of one half dozen of the other.

It's fascism anyway you slice it

I know but dude is selling it like a great capitalist example. If they had real free market and a representative republic their economy would dwarf ours.

Capitalists will go to any length to praise and worship the god of money, even citing totalitarian states that enslave their own people as shining examples of the holy doctrine of capitalism.

It's fucking bizarre.

I'd have to re-watch the video as I don't recall exactly what he said about China.

I don't see how him saying that means he's trying to sell it as a great capitalist example.

He was making the point that these people who think we're exploiting other nations ignore the fact that making $2 a day is still more than they had before and other countries(ours included) went thru that stage and other stages to get to where we are now.

They're gaining from it and so are we, win win.

Nevermind his high and mighty moralistic preaching, I can't take anyone seriously that couldn't even learn how to pronounce his R's and L's appropriately in this day and age. Especially someone who claims authority on economics and makes phony appeals to human sympathy in the service of his false idol.
