Lots of open water in the coves and on the edges. 3-4 more days or a little wind and the lake will be open for sure. Last year the lake opened on April 9th. This year it's likely to be the 27th or later. The latest our lake has ever gone out in the last 30 years is May 2nd. We have had an incredible spring with weeks of near 60f weather. Takes a lot of heat to melt 40+ inches of solid ice.
