About 2 hours away from major surgery...

74 posts in this topic

I don't post here much anymore, but I still keep in touch with a few of you.

Anyway, been dealing with kidney disease for a few years now, and have technically been in kidney failure for a few months.  Got my IV put in last night at midnight and have taken two rounds of immunosuppressant drugs already pre-op. In about 2 hours I get sliced open and get new parts put in.  It's always fun to do mods in the off-season, hey? :P

I could use any positive vibes or prayers if any of you guys are into that.

Thanks everyone.  It's important to keep an eye on your blood pressure, and if any of you have considered becoming an organ donor, today is as good a day as any to sign up.

Prayers & vibes sent.

Was a relative the donor?  Always impressed when someone steps up and does something like that.
