it's how he reaches his people. 140 characters and a few emojis thrown in is about all they can absorb without their heads exploding.

That might be true for some like woolard and such...but honestly how long is that going to last.....he needs to concentrate on the people that are for him and not the people against him....and then maybe his country can be as one again.

Or how about pass some legislation that will help the average middle class Joe like he promised?

The mandate as unpopular as it is,  keep cost's down,  younger healthier people paying in helps balance out the older less healthy people, if it goes cost's go up like it or not it's a fact.

You can't have an insurance plan that only has sick people in it, for some reason the actuarials just don't seem to work out in that scenario :news:

Problem is the "tax" is not enough to force people onto the plans.  That was caused by the mandatory coverage's that made the plans so expensive to begin with.  Also it still allowed them on if they became sick with little to no other penalty.  The whole "no one can be denied coverage" comes back and hurts the program.  The mandatory coverage's are in itself a way to collect from healthy people.   A perfect example of this is the mandatory mental health coverage.  Generally speaking that just don't pop up.   You rather need it or you don't.

there's a lot of people that came out of the shadows to vote for trump (even though he lost the popular vote)...hence, these people are wanting to see results. not just jobs, but good paying jobs. building a massive $25 billion dollar wall, enriching the military complex by another $55 billion, and charging the american people a 20% tax on mexican goods just won't be good enough.

Building the military is good to get money flowing....but it is not a long term solution imo....also I dont believe the wall will happen.....whats easier said then done is to get businesses to stop importing everything from China and to invest in their own country....if he can get them to do this it will create alot more jobs...but like any company they are all about profit and why would you buy in the usa when its so much cheaper somewhere else.

The truth is healthcare is expensive, the costs go up because people who have no insurance get sick or hurt and it gets paid for by the people who have insurance. Mandatory coverage and participation spread the costs among a larger number of people and balances out costs.

Trump claimed everyone would be covered and it would be better care and cost less, I hope it's true, my bet is fewer people will be covered it will cost more not sure if care will be better, but we will have to wait and see.

Spending the money earmarked for military on domestic infrastructure projects would provide more benefit to average Americans.

Seems to be working.   Trump is in the WH and the GOP has never controlled more of the country.

Now is the time if things don't get better they can no longer blame the other side for the problems in the country, if heath care isn't better, cheaper they own it, if middleclass taxes aren't cut and wages up they own it, lets hope for the best.
