You seem to know so enlighten us.

It wasn't intel.

It wasn't Obama being a pussy.

It wasn't Trump being an idiot.

The SEALS wanted darkness. No moon. Obama passed on the operation because the next night that fit the bill was after Trump was in office. He deferred to give Trump the call since he would be President.

Seems there is a lot of misinformation on both sides. Seems Obama made the right call, and Trump followed up on it. The fact the mission went bad was no one's fault.... things like that happen. It's why it's called a plan.

So both sides should shut up about this particular part of the operation.

Moon or not, there is no guarantee Obama would have green lighted the mission, unless he green lights every mission the military cooks up?

President Barack Obama’s national security aides had reviewed the plans for a risky attack on a small, heavily guarded brick home of a senior Qaeda collaborator in a mountainous village in a remote part of central Yemen. But Mr. Obama did not act because the Pentagon wanted to launch the attack on a moonless night and the next one would come after his term had ended.

If that's the excuse you want to hang your hat on, by all means.

if the raid had been so highly successful would obama''s fingerprints on the mission be revealed so freely by trump? fuck no. the fact that trump is willing to shuffle it off on to obama tells me that the mission was a fucking failure.

That was in response to the raid being a "Trump hairbrained idea".

If you don't want to know the facts, don't ask someone else to bring them to the table.
