As SEALs Fought For Their Lives, Trumps Account Sent And Deleted A TV Tweet

WASHINGTON ― As a team of elite U.S. commandos found themselves under unexpectedly heavy fire in a remote Yemeni village last month, eight time zones away, their commander in chief was not in the Situation Room.

It’s unclear what he, personally, was doing. But his Twitter account was busy promoting an upcoming appearance on the Christian Broadcasting Network.

“I will be interviewed by @TheBrodyFile on @CBNNews tonight at 11pm. Enjoy!” read a tweet from President Donald Trump’s personal account on Saturday, Jan. 28.

Whether it was Trump himself or an aide who sent out that tweet at 5:50 p.m. ― about half an hour into a firefight that cost a Navy SEAL his life ― cannot be determined from the actual tweets, and the White House isn’t saying. Likewise, it’s not clear who deleted the tweet some 20 minutes later, or why the new president, just a week on the job, chose not to directly monitor the first high-risk military operation on his watch.

Do you know where Obama or Hillary was when Ambassador Stevens was getting killed?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/marc-thiessen-where-was-obama-during-benghazi-ask-the-white-house-diarist/2014/05/12/70c6b898-d9cc-11e3-bda1-9b46b2066796_story.html?utm_term=.8a712875c599

Just outside the Oval Office is a room called the Outer Oval, where the president’s secretary and personal aide sit and through which all visitors coming to see the president pass. Staff members in the Outer Oval keep track of the president’s location at all times. They carefully record the names of all individuals who walk into the Oval Office — when they entered, how long they stayed, what the topic of discussion was. They keep a record of all calls made and received by the president, including the topic, participants and duration. They even record the president’s bathroom breaks (they write “evacuating” into the log).

This and other data on the presidents’ whereabouts are collected by a career National Archives employee whose title is White House diarist. This individual preserves them as a minute-by-minute historical record of the presidency for future use by presidential scholars.

What this means is that there exists a minute-by-minute record of where the president was and what he was doing for all eight hours of the Benghazi attack.

So how is it that the White House has failed to give a full account of the president’s whereabouts during that eight-hour period? The White House knows precisely where he was and what he was doing, yet it is refusing to share that information with Congress and the American people. This is unacceptable. Imagine if 20 months after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the George W. Bush White House had still refused to account for where the president was or what he was doing that day. There would be outrage and constant demands from the press, Congress and other investigators demanding to know the answer to a simple factual question: Where was the president?

Over 2500 US soldiers were killed when Obama was in office.   You think he was in the situation room for even 1% of those?

Ya think Trump would be interested in the first raid conducted under his Presidency, but nah.

You do realize this raid was planned while Obama was in office.

evidence pointed to the fact that obama held back because more intel was needed. i tend to believe that because obama didn't pull the pin before he left.

it was a botched mission which ever way one looks at it. who knows, maybe shit like this with change trump. create some humility in the arrogant piece of shit.

which is odd, considering Obama wanted to put on some fake "grand standing" right before he left office, like he did with the bombers from Kansas. wonder if missions expert xlt was referred to for this decision?

It was a botched mission because one seal was killed?   It is combat you know.   Soldiers are going to get hurt or killed.   It was estimated that 14 AQ terrorists were killed in the raid.  Sorry but neither of us are qualified to say if it was botched or not.

I don't pretend to know the answer to this like i'm sure the resident libs know for sure.

Did he know of the operation as it was happening? Does the military inform the president of every single move on the front lines? Down to the second?

Typically, the President would know about when it was gonna happen after the "green light" was given.  Every aspect of the mission is not of his interest or care as to how it gets done..certainly not down to the second.  Mission debriefs are performed after the mission, successful or not, and the pertinent information is sent through the military channels to the Presidents advisers.  Wanna see what a bunch of buffoons sitting around trying to keep up with shit they know nothing about for the media dog and pony show?

Image result for did obama really watch osama's raid?

Wanna see what they were really watching?
