Washington (CNN)For the first time, US investigators say they have corroborated some of the communications detailed in a 35-page dossier compiled by a former British intelligence agent, multiple current and former US law enforcement and intelligence officials tell CNN. As CNN first reported, then-President-elect Donald Trump and President Barack Obama were briefed on the existence of the dossier prior to Trump's inauguration.

then there's flynn's memory problem. the trump admin swore up and down that the only things discussed were xmas wishes

"President Trump’s national security adviser talked about sanctions against Russia with the country’s ambassador in December, The Washington Postreports.

The report, which cites current and former U.S. officials, contradicts Michael Flynn’s assertion on Wednesday that he never discussed the topic with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during a series of phone calls in the month before Trump took office.

A spokesman for Flynn walked back that denial on Thursday, saying that “while he had no recollection of discussing sanctions, he couldn’t be certain that the topic never came up,” according to the Post."

For the first time, US investigators say they have corroborated some of the communications

CNN has not confirmed whether any content relates to then-candidate Trump.

So, CNN admits claims they previously made, now SOME of it can be corroborated for the FIRST time yet they STILL HAVE NO CONNECTION TO TRUMP.     I sense a Pulitzer coming.

dude......many people, including you most likely, thought this story was complete BS in the beginning. we are now in the early stages of an investigation and thus far, some things appear to be legit. that is the point being made here.
