Just polished off a good bit of shrimp cocktail.  Been a while since we’ve had that.  I was gonna stir fry some and whip up some Alfredo sauce and noodles but, got full instead.

Hey @Badger** I remember you saying that you sold meat to Aldi stores and that they price it really well...there is an Aldi the next town over and I was wondering if I can find out who supplies their meat...I patiently await  your reply sir!  :salute:

It is IBP/Tyson all coming from meat Distributors or the Aldi warehouse some may remember them as Iowa Beef Packers the largest packer in the world all corn feed beef from the Midwest.  Your best beef in the world comes from the Midwest Cho or Prime or Prime or AAA out of Canada I am talking about the whole carcass. Wagyu Beef from Japan has great middle meat but for the most part, the rest is very poor quality just not very good usable material. Angus Choice you will pick up the great flavor in the Top sirloin NY strips and Rib Eye and ground round chuck meat not so much. When buying Angus Beef think of a Deer, a Deer carries more of it sent in its hinds. Cheater; when you see steaks called sirloin strip and sirloin steaks they are cut from beef ball tip a poor quality cut from the round, look for the name NEW york strip and TOP sirloin steak also stay away from sirloin tenderloin but look for TENDERLOIN. 

You all have been Schooled by the Meat Man 37 years in the meat business and when talking about smoking meats no one is any better than anyone else, what works for one guy may not work for others so if you like what you made in the back yard its a winner in my book. :bc:
