Good read...as was mentioned there is no getting back to the days of packed stands and high TV ratings but hopefully the series doesn't die completely. It's interesting because I was watching the documentary about the 1979 Daytona that basically lead to the rise of NASCAR now here we are talking about the demise....a span of only 40 years.
