irv
Cliff was taken off life support on Saturday. He was a great guy who always had a smile, always loved talking about sledding and atving and loved the great outdoors. For those that don't think this can happen to you, think again. Play save, not only this year, but always. Life is fleeting. Rest in Peace my friend.
Poncho
Sorry to hear that, I was speaking to another Freedom Sledder today regarding Cliff. We were thinking this sort of thing could have happened to anyone of us. I (we) hear you Irv....play it safe... Did the real story of what really happened, come out....not that it really matters much, just curious, but I know those details may also bring about more comments that do not want to be heard. RIP. Puzzleboy
Very sad to hear. Would be good to hear the details; not to encourage argument, but to learn from. The only redeeming quality of a situation like this.
Puzzleboy
The whole situation reminded me of this old pic. Quebec (around 2000/2001, and we found this nearly vertical wall to screw around on. I took off my helmet because it was a warm day and I was getting hot from all the screwing around. Could have bashed my head easily had I wiped out. (Some say I probably did). But sure makes you think....
