Easy rebuild then .

Maybe, but it will be fucked up even if they get it going again. A local club sunk a Tucker 8-10 years ago and it always had electrical issues after it was fixed :dunno:

Hmmm.....ya electrical gremlins can haunt you when waters involved....mold is a big problem on contacts. Ive chased that down on quads a few times.

We had one of the big boys jacked up last week. Had to do a gear swing for a landing gear snag. Notice how the main gear is tilted up when fully down but rotates so it will fit into the opening. Not sure how that is done. We were too busy so I couldn't look at the mechanism to see how it works. 20180214_083202.thumb.jpg.8b337cf4e1e6764efe0796ef42df9e39.jpg20180214_085117.thumb.jpg.106ecadcdca4952fd7072d9d3e7ce766.jpgN20180214_125502.thumb.jpg.18129da559f379fac523e5570fcf227d.jpg

Those are serious jackstands.

They sure are. That airplane is about 250,000lbs the way you see it. The jacks have to be levelled before it can be lifted. Takes two guys per jack to go up and then down. And lots of time to set them up and remove them.

cool pics. seems like hydraulics would do that? the same that would help keep them "rigid" once the plane lands? :dunno:

I wouldn't want it, but you could also get a neon yellow, orange or some cherry metallic looking job for the same price too.

Yuck
