So if he tried to sell it who did he try to sell it to? I know what they said but I didn't hear anything on the tapes that would fall under conspiracy.

Truth is Obama administration wrung him up for not playing ball. And it's right there in your second video.

He was a douchebag no doubt but he didn't get caught selling the Senate seat. Listen I'm not a blago fan I just call things as I see them. The media said he did this and that but I didn't see it that way. If they wanted to catch him they should have let him sell it, then you would have either had a witness for the prosecution or a co-defendant. There was none.

Trump is using Blago as a stooge so when he pardons his corrupt buds he can say look I let a Dem go free.

Let's get real and look at what this asshole was convicted on, by a jury of peers no less.

Make no mistake Blago is the setup stooge for further reckless commutations and pardons by Trump....oh look I let a Dem go free.

Blagojevich’s crimes: 20 charges, 3 schemes and a lie

Blagojevich was convicted in connection with three schemes, including the attempted sale of a Senate seat. He was found guilty on 11 criminal counts related to the Senate seat and six counts involving fundraising shakedowns of a hospital executive and racetrack owner. Five counts related to the Senate seat were later dismissed on appeal.FIRST TRIAL: LYING TO THE FBIBlago claims he didn't pay attention to who donated

FIRST TRIAL: LYING TO THE FBI

Blago claims he didn't pay attention to who donated

Convicted of: Lying to the FBI

In Blagojevich's first trial in 2010, he was found guilty of lying to the FBI. The jury was split on the 23 other counts.

The lying charge stemmed from a March 16, 2005, interview when Blagojevich told FBI agents "he did not track, or want to know, who contributed to him or how much money they contributed to him," according to the FBI.

The foreman told the Tribune at the time that the panel was close to convicting the former governor on other counts -- hung up 11-1 in some instances after deliberating for 14 days.

U.S. SENATE SEAT

'I've got this thing and it's (expletive) golden."

Convicted of: Wire fraud, attempted extortion, conspiracy to commit bribery, conspiracy to commit extortion

When Barack Obama was elected president in November 2008, Blagojevich held the sole authority under Illinois law to name a successor, and prosecutors argued that he tried to leverage that power to cash in for himself.

Through intermediaries, Obama sent signals that he preferred the post go to his friend Valerie Jarrett, prompting Blagojevich to allegedly offer a swap -- Jarrett to the Senate and Blagojevich to a Cabinet post or other high-level administration job. (These counts were eventually thrown out on appeal.) Another deal allegedly floated by Blagojevich would have had Obama insiders lean on wealthy financiers to bankroll a nonprofit advocacy group for the governor to run at a generous salary.

After all that was rebuffed and Jarrett withdrew from consideration, Blagojevich angled to hand the Senate post to U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. in exchange for $1.5 million in donations promised by Jackson supporters.

The Senate scheme produced perhaps the most iconic quote from the entire affair: "I've got this thing and it's (expletive) golden," Blagojevich said in a conversation secretly recorded by government agents. "I'm not just giving it up for (expletive) nothing."

CHILDREN'S MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FUNDING

Shaking down a hospital for campaign contributions

Convicted of: Wire fraud, attempted extortion, bribery

In summer 2008, Children's Memorial Hospital, now Lurie Children's Hospital, was lobbying Blagojevich to raise state reimbursement rates for pediatric specialists. It was within Blagojevich's authority to raise those rates.

Blagojevich was convicted of holding up the $8 million funding increase in an effort to get the CEO of the hospital to hold a $25,000 fundraiser.

Among the government's evidence is a voicemail recording from the former governor's brother, Robert Blagojevich, to a hospital lobbyist: "I know that you're gonna be following up with Children's Memorial and just wanted to know what the next steps are and what it is, kind of we're looking to accomplish there." Robert Blagojevich continued that he wanted to "make sure I'm following up on you so you get it done" and that "you know I'm jerking your chain but ah, I ah, I think they have a potential to do well by us."

When Blagojevich was arrested, the rates were still not finalized.

HORSE-RACING LEGISLATION

A political favor for $100,000

Convicted of: Wire fraud, conspiracy to commit bribary, conspiracy to commit extortion

In a November 2008 special session, the General Assembly voted to extend a subsidy from Illinois casinos to horse-racing tracks. The measure was sent to Blagojevich to sign into law.

According to court documents, once the bill passed, Maywood Park horse-racing track owner John Johnston urged a Blagojevich associate to have the governor sign the bill.

Blagojevich and his associates plotted how to get a $100,000 donation from Johnston.

Blagojevich's former chief of staff, Lon Monk, met Johnston at one of his racetracks, according to court documents. Monk told Johnston he had talked with Blagojevich and that Blagojevich was concerned that Johnston would be "skittish" about making a donation after Blagojevich signed the bill.

The court documents said Johnston said words to the effect of "I knew it. I knew it was something like that."

At the time of Blagojevich's arrest, the bill had not been signed.

From day one I knew what that was, he should have just given the Obama admin what they wanted. Thats what he is guilty of, not being a team player and being a jagoff. Patti was lobbying Trump to let him go long before most of these recent scandals and he was considering it then. Blago hit the talk show circuit and freely played those tapes for all to hear there was no attempt to sell the seat. He also acknowledged they didnt make him look very good but there was no proof of what he got wrung up for.

And here is my proof right here:

he was most likely guilty of the hospital shake down, thats what launched the investigation into him i believe.

You are right about one thing, Trumpers all of the suddent think Blago is innocent, something they never would have acknowledged had Trump not pardoned him. And sure he will use whatever card he has when he pardons his buds
