If the US system is so much better than the "socialist" Canadian system...

Anecdotal evidence is kind of useless.

And yet our system works better for most people than the US one does.

The median net worth of Canadians is higher than that of the US.  50% of Canadians have a higher net worth and 70% of US citizens.

The per capita debt of US citizens is $67,000.00 per person. Canada's is less than $15,000.00.

That is quite a disparity. It probably has something to do with a more equitable tax system and a closer ratio of worker pay to eco pay.

Weird how allergic to facts people have become in the Trump era.

public or private? Either way I think your numbers are way off.

Gas price in the US $2.60/Gallon

Gas price Canada $1.30 liter or $4.93/Gallon

that's to my point as well. Sin taxes here and consumer based taxes on gas and virtually anything you buy are way higher.

if you are on the upper end of middle class or upper middle class your dollar goes wayyyyyy farther in the US than it does in Canada. Never mind the difference in income tax between Canada/the provinces and the US/states.

We collect over $21,000 per person in the US in fed, state and local taxes.   $84,000 per family of four.   Tax revenue is not an issue.

DC has about a seven year olds ability and grasp on income and expenditures.  They just don’t care.

I wasn't inferring it was. Just saying Canadians get taxed at a higher rate, and much higher when you blend provincial and federal vs federal/state in the US.

you're so fucking dumb. Add provincial debt and get back to us.

FYI that US figure is only their portion of the 22 trillion debt not unfunded liabilities. It doesn't include state or city debts. Why do you want to include provincial debt but not state debt. Are you being dishonest?

Or is the real test the median net worth of the citizens?

That may tell one who is better at saving. Says nothing about quality of life. Snotty tells us he is rich. But a great day for him is taking a ride without shitting himself.

are you really trying to argue that Canadians owe more money than THE USA MOST IN DEBT COUNTRY IN THE WORLD :dunno:

Its not even close Frenchy, I ask you to go add up the Provincial and Federal debt and come back    holy fuck

Add in the price of Health Care they are even further in debt compared to Canadians

If you look at debt per tax payer in USA its 187k each - https://www.usdebtclock.org/

adding 1 Trillion a year is going to add up quick, 10 times what Canada's deficit is per capita - but Donny is smart business mad right

? without posting the 50 different state taxes, USA isn't taxed less than Canadians - and rich Canadians keep more of their money

This includes Health Care for Canadians so the difference is even more in favour of Canadians

Generally Canadians make more money on average

US has over $100 trillion in debt when you factor in all PUBLIC debt.
