9 PM, probably a few drinks in him. Who the fuck sleds near a river mouth?

" Hello, Mr. Darwin, yeah we got another one for ya'. "

Sometimes it's hard to see, especially at 9 p.m. in the dark.

Couple of sleds and vehicles went thru the ice up in Houghton Lake this past weekend.  I didn't hear if there were any injuries or deaths. Sounded like the details were still being gone thru. Was a busy weekend up there this past weekend.

All shallow by shore I heard.

How do you even know she gave a shit?

Maybe she's been fuckin' Tyrone at work for the last year, and is glad her husband is gone, so now she is free to bang Tyrone, and gets the house and money???

Wouldn't surprise me if your wife secretly hopes you take the deep six.

Let’s not bring family members in here. Trash me but not my wife asshole.

You brought up somebody else’s wife so, welcome to your show!

You should fight him and defend your wife’s honor....or, is it worth the bother because, come on!

We rode across a bunch of lakes this past weekend and even the ones that are marked out got slushy after a bunch of sleds went over it. They all froze and then melted and then got a ton of snow on top, they may never be totally frozen now.

then the slush trench freezes solid so you can find it at 80 on the way home in the dark . good times

These kinds of questions are unique to Freedom Sledder, and in a twisted way they do bring some levity to a tragic situation

I like riding unknown ice at about 45 mph, if I hit slush, a frozen trench, or see open water I still have plenty of time to make decisions such as throttle out, maneouver out, or if I hit that frozen trench I'm not going to fold the sled and I should be able to not lose control.  Hammering wide open on unknown ice is stupid.

Yup.  I've pretty much stayed off the lakes this year.

Good idea, the wife and I crossed a lake near Sayner WI on the 27th of December, it was sloppy.

All deaths can be made humorous....if you work hard enough.

I bet I haven’t ridden on a lake/stream in five plus years.  Maybe more.

Yup, and you never ride near the inlets were the currents are strong.  We were on Canada Falls Lake just yesterday, and you have to be careful up near the damn.
