Guess Global warming scare was correct after all

Fifty Years Of Failed Apocalyptic Forecasts

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”

– H. L. Mencken

Academics have been forecasting doom for my entire life.  Needless to say, it hasn’t happened, as we are still here.

A few days after we landed on the moon 50 years ago, Stanford professor Paul Ehrlich forecast that we would disappear in a cloud of blue steam within 20 years. Ehrich is John Holdren’s close associate, and Holdren was Obama’s science advisor.

No reason to give yours....the opinion we both share was in the beginning of his post.  Although...I added a bit in Bold

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."  .......in order to tax and otherwise fleece the herds of mental pygmies in society to further their own personal wealth and agendas, all under the guise of "for the greater good".

What simple prick thinks 30-40 years of fake data about global warming represents the direction we are heading in when proof exists the climate has always changed, both warmer and colder, over the past 75,000+ years and longer?

I'd also like to know what simple prick would actually believe computer modelling when discussing the climate/weather rather than using real proof like core samples, carbon dating, soil stratification, and historic data that was obtained over the years when science wasn't politically and monetarily motivated?

Global Warming, what a scam, We really need to tax the shit out of this so that our government will use that money strictly to combat it.  Just like they use the SS money, the transportation funds etc.  Who ever believes that our government needs more money should be put in a mental institution.

Almost perfect?   They were off by 50% on the CO2 prediction.    How is that almost perfect.

What we've seen from the pre-industrial revolution until today matches that extremely well. We haven't doubled CO2, but we have increased it by about 50%. Temperatures, going back to the first measurements of accurate global temperatures in the 1880s, have increased by nearly (but not quite) 1 °C.
