you need to read up on the current temps and how much it has gone up in the past century - its all factual data with no politics attached...

Whether this is due to the industrial era is not proven

So what are you denying again?  the actual recorded temps are fake :dunno:

stop posting meme's about carbon taxing, nobody really wants that and it isn't a part of any topic here

Trail, where are you getting your info from and why did Catherine McKenna just remove a bunch/all of the previous climate data here in Canada? I'll tell you, because she doesn't want imbeciles like you figuring out they are B.S. ing you.

Again, Kevvy, I mean Trail, what is the climate emergency up here in Canada? I really want to join your hoax, I mean movement so please convince so I can jump on board the bandwagon and join ya.

World data center in nasa

This isn't some Liberal BS it actual temperatures recoded

not sure what you read other than meme's IRV the NEW ONEWAY

https://climate.nasa.gov/vital-signs/global-temperature/

Ocean temp recorded facts

https://www.epa.gov/climate-indicators/climate-change-indicators-sea-surface-temperature

oNly a foolish person denies the planet is warming - leaving taxes or politics out of it

you can argue the reason or cause - get informed IRV instead of reading meme's for your facts

Lets just say your Nasa reports are correct and we are warming. Now tell me how this is our fault and not just the weather/climate that the earth has always experienced?

You do know the earth was once completely covered in ice, don't you? What do u suppose caused that to melt when there likely wasn't a living thing on earth at that time? Do you think it could have been the sun and the earth's axis or do you think somehow, someway, maybe humanoids from another galaxy had something to do with that?

And seriously, is this something to be panicked about? A whopping 1.4 degrees F increase since 1880? Again, Trail, at what point in the earth's history was the climate neutral and not changing? According to an ongoing temperature analysis conducted by scientists at NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), the average global temperature on Earth has increased by about 0.8° Celsius (1.4° Fahrenheit) since 1880. Two-thirds of the warming has occurred since 1975, at a rate of roughly 0.15-0.20°C per decade.

What's you thoughts on CO2, do you think it is a pollutant and if we don't stop it, we are all going to die? At what level do you think it is going to kill us and how long do you think it will be before it gets there?

so now you post that our planet has warmed - you learned something I see

as for the rest of your rambling on about co2 its not worth answer something you clearly have no idea even how to ask the question

I remember back in the day fighting against UNLEADED fuel as more LIBERAL BS  The added expense will put everyone out of business  -  time to get out of your NEW CAVE

same today nothing has changed

oh the ONEWAYS have spoken

Just in case you didn't know this wasn't a Trudeau event nor a Canadian one, it was world wide 10's of millions of people marching all across the globe, all except the conservative leaders here  in Ottawa and Ontario

nothing to miss, no votes to get - stay at home and do nothing is the answer

I guess you guys still see this as a non issue, clearly some of you don't understand what climate is even, comments like he arrived in a plane is just showing the lack of understanding on the subject.

I think they missed a great opportunity to gain votes and look promising in their platform - ANDREW lost all of that now

10s of millions out of billions...all but...fuck off Steve.

So, you have nothing, eh? Surprise, surprise. Can't even tell me if you think CO2 is a pollutant and can't even tell me what the Climate emergency is in Canada.

The typical oneway Liberal mind. Gets cornered with facts/truth then plays the idiot and throws in/deflects with more talking points. :news:

Many times actually, do the scientists have any clue what caused them and how to prevent them going forward.

Carbon tax.

Cap and Trade.

Give Fail a carbon rebate.

Trudeau isn't even close to meeting Harper's reduced targets and they're going up..

Yeah, such a large/rapid rate. 0.8 c since 1880!!! Holy fuck, Trail, where can I send more carbon tax money so we don't all burn up by next year!

Still nothing on what the Climate Emergency is in Canada, eh, and nothing on CO2? You're such a hack, Trail. :clueless:

I gave a link to some really good information that is FACTS DOCUMENTED and you didn't read it as I thought would happen.   Don't be afraid to get informed it doesn't mean you'll have to agree with carbon taxes but it will mean you don't look uneducated on the topic

click this

https://climate.nasa.gov/causes/

  • Water vapor. The most abundant greenhouse gas, but importantly, it acts as a feedback to the climate. Water vapor increases as the Earth's atmosphere warms, but so does the possibility of clouds and precipitation, making these some of the most important feedback mechanisms to the greenhouse effect.
  • Carbon dioxide (CO2). A minor but very important component of the atmosphere, carbon dioxide is released through natural processes such as respiration and volcano eruptions and through human activities such as deforestation, land use changes, and burning fossil fuels. Humans have increased atmospheric CO2 concentration by more than a third since the Industrial Revolution began. This is the most important long-lived "forcing" of climate change.
  • Methane. A hydrocarbon gas produced both through natural sources and human activities, including the decomposition of wastes in landfills, agriculture, and especially rice cultivation, as well as ruminant digestion and manure management associated with domestic livestock. On a molecule-for-molecule basis, methane is a far more active greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide, but also one which is much less abundant in the atmosphere.
  • Nitrous oxide. A powerful greenhouse gas produced by soil cultivation practices, especially the use of commercial and organic fertilizers, fossil fuel combustion, nitric acid production, and biomass burning.

Thanks IRV but I am aware of the iCE just I know it wasn't the entire earth, that is your alternative facts

the ice age was 5-9 degrees cooler average temp than today, which isn't a lot

If you want to talk about causes I am all open for that but don't just put words in my mouth spewing the anti climate change  chant

And you believe that nonsense? You do know, because you're so smart and all, that they pump about 3-4 times of what we currently breath into greenhouses, don't you?

Do you think if it were so bad and not beneficial, they would be doing that?

Your about as dumb as they come, Trail, and it's no wonder you love the lieberals as they love you.

So, again, what melted all that ice, Trail? Were there SUV's back then that I'm not aware of that some type of humanoid/creature drove around in and melted all that ice?

Quit defelcting and tell me what the cause of that was?

1896

The above graph compares global surface temperature changes (red line) and the Sun's energy that Earth receives (yellow line) in watts (units of energy) per square meter since 1880. The lighter/thinner lines show the yearly levels while the heavier/thicker lines show the 11-year average trends. Eleven-year averages are used to reduce the year-to-year natural noise in the data, making the underlying trends more obvious.
