They do all the media hype about the accusation and the kids face is front and centre for the cameras. They just had the fact it was all made up on the TV and now her face is pixilated to obscure it and protect her identity.

The whole thing is bazaar

Jesus dude we know the law for fuck sakes, question is do you?

The Young Offenders Act (YOA; French: Loi sur les jeunes contrevenants) was an act of the Parliament of Canada, granted Royal Assent in 1982 and proclaimed in force on April 2, 1984, that regulated the criminalprosecution of Canadian youths.[1] The act was repealed in 2003 with the passing of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The act established the national age of criminal responsibility at 12 years old, and said that youths can only be prosecuted if they break a law of the Criminal Code (previously, youths could be prosecuted or punished solely on the grounds that it was in the youth's "best interests")

absolutely nothing can be done

Holy fuck.

she is going to get a hard time at school for years I bet

For sure.  What see put that poor school through and board, all for nothing.

Maybe it was her way of telling her parents she really didn't like wearing that Hijab.

Happens on a regular basis, student doesn't like his/her teacher simply state touching, looking, creeping,  so many things.  Once accused with in the Government it never leaves your record even if actuation's are proven false.

In you example the Teacher would be moved no matter the outcome of guilty or not

Fun times

I'm pretty sure there was a case of a fellow in the Niagara Region committing suicide after false accusations like you described.

Unless criminal charges are laid and proven in court, they get full pay at home.  Sounds like a win.

maybe it was but sounds like she said something and the school went nuts calling police ect, the girl then got caught up in her own lies.

I won't hold it against her

The rest was just poorly done

A cautionary tale for EVERYONE involved. The OFM investigator made a comment about a teaching moment after the Oshawa rooming house fire.

Maybe this incident could be a teaching moment about 'crying wolf'.

Khawlah Noman

Remember this name. She'll be a Liberal political candidate in the future.

Look @ the image of the TDSB flunky. Looks like she took a page out of Gloria Allred's playbook.

For those wondering what the politicians would say:

Quote

At Queen’s Park, Premier Kathleen Wynne, who had vehemently denounced the attack on Friday, expressed relief that it had never happened.

“I’d like to thank the Toronto Police Service for their work in this matter, and I join all Ontarians in being thankful and relieved that this assault did not take place,” Wynne said in a statement.

Mayor John Tory agreed, saying: “It is good to know that this event didn’t happen.”

“We all must remain vigilant in the fight against hate, racism, bigotry, anti-Semitism and Islamophobia to make sure our city remains an inclusive place,” he wrote in a tweet.

Nothing from Sock Boy or his office.

Quote

“While we are relieved that this child was not a victim of a hate crime, the false nature of the claim is unsettling,” said Ihsaan Gardee, executive director of the National Council of Canadian Muslims, in a statement.

The false allegation “may also affect persons who are in fact targeted by Islamophobic and hateful acts,” Gardee said.

What about how crying wolf may affect how future victims of ANY attacks (regardless of their basis) may be received?

Would the media have normally been allowed into the school?

http://torontosun.com/opinion/columnists/fatah-a-hijabi-hoax-that-fooled-canada

With all the kids that encounter some fuckwad going or coming from school rarely have we actually seen or heard from the child, but it has happened in the past.

As soon as Muslim is added things change, and that means on social media too.

The haters on social media are out in full force, this is clearly Trudeau's fault

Of course it is:

https://www.spencerfernando.com/2018/01/15/manipulative-trudeau-statement-fake-hijab-attack-calls-warning-sign-increased-intolerance/

The part under PMO statement was as it was shown on CP24:

Trudeau-PMO-Statement-Fake-Hijab-Attack-

So he's saying an incident that turns out to be false is proof that said incidents are on the rise?

Jesus Fucking Christ, what a stretch.
