This is getting old...Trail Crusher thread.......we get it. Crusher has a job and pays Fail, as I do.  Fail lives off the government and wants us to pay more.  Got it.  Justine’s father put us down this road, Justine will continue bankrupt the working class until the working class, middle above, is broke.. There is nothing left; gents like me and Crusher will be taxed to death to keep the new gen going, (eyes at Fail). Fail will say Crusher and I make too much money and should pay him more so he can have more for free....the system is less then one decade from bankruptcy....

no point in arguing with Fail. He is either incredibly stupid or willfully ignorant. Either way its a no win situation.

There is a reason this is only in Post Millennial becasuse its not true - Blacklock

looks like they found a chart that has no data entered something went wrong, Trudeau is hiding something - so they claim it is zero jobs created - hardly legit news or anything

With THE RECORD EMPLOYMENT TODAY its seems to be an incorrect statement - Canada has made record growth in jobs also in the past 4 years.  PostM could write about that if they were a legit news source.

no time for ONEWAY news its dumb

2019

Canada's economy added 35,000 new jobs in December, bringing the total for the year 2019 as a whole to 320,000. Statistics Canada reported Friday that most of the new jobs were added in Ontario and Quebec

2018

December's figure means that for 2018 as a whole, Canada's economy added 163,000 jobs

2017

Statistics Canada's annual labour market review for 2017 shows that total employment across Canada rose by 336,500, or 1.9 per cent — the fastest rate of growth since 2007

I think that Post story is way off, should have saved it for bad times instead of record breaking employment in Canada ----- Horrible reporting IMO

outpacing USA on employment created

Of course it is -

Pipeline isn't Trudeau's

Protesters are paid by Trudeau

take out Protesters is wrong

leave protesters alone is wrong

Harper would have solved this before it happened

another tough job for Trudeau that he will get zero credit for handling as no matter what he does it will be considered wrong by Post Millennial gang of haters...

In the old days we would have just taking these folks out, then decades later pay them money for mistreating them -  what is your idea AC?

Blockades are bad

so what has the Oppositions offered? nothing but negative thoughts.

Really if this is such a huge concern why would you not suggest something the Government could do?   Usually this means you have no ideas so try to take advantage of the situation to benefit yourself.

So easy being the Opposition in any government

I wish Scheer would go away now, he has been kicked out by the Party, why are we listening to him still?  He stole your money for personal gain

Notice how all governments are not saying shit about this blockade across the country :dunno:  lots of finger pointing though

Why would anyone else step in now that Trudeau is failing?

Enjoy the show.

You are elected to do what is best for the country, not what is best for you  :dunno:

clearly this isn't what Politicians do.

Personally I can't stand this part of Politics and the PARTY doesn't matter they all do it. When it comes to something important as this all elected should be on board.

You seem to be okay with it by your statement.  and will listen to anyone you are told to, even knowing Scheer stole money from members for his own gain (something you claim to be against but are clearly okay with)

I guess being a ONEWAY is even easier than being the Opposition

Minority government means SCHEER can have his own resolution to this problem passed by vote in Parliament :dunno:

sorry just don't get it, personal gain is cheered here

The protesters should be arrested and fined, but lets face I don't think those deadbeats could caugh up the funds for a parking ticket.

You would think

OPP have a court order to take it down, they have said they will not at this time - why is this?  I know we would like to use this situation to fuel hate for Trudeau, if governments are responsible then why hasn't Doug stepped up and told OPP to move now?  Get the political gain you claim is waiting for any leader with a decision

I know why question is do you, the answer is the same for every government Party

Canada: Manufacturing Sales declined 0.7% in December, fourth straight negative reading

NEWS | 13:49 GMT | By Eren Sengezer

  • Manufacturing sector in Canada continued to weaken toward the end of 2019.
  • USD/CAD pair gained traction and rose toward 1.33 on disappointing data.

Manufacturing Sales in Canada fell by 0.7% to $56.4 billion in December to post the fourth consecutive negative reading, Statistics Canada reported on Tuesday. This figure missed the market expectation for an increase of 0.5% by a wide margin. Additionally, November's reading got revised down to -1% from -0.6%.

"Sales were down in 11 of 21 industries, representing 42.6% of the Canadian manufacturing sector," the press release read. "The largest declines were in the motor vehicle assembly and aerospace product and parts industries."

Even though recent weakness has often been the result of temporary factors including plant shutdowns and strikes, the manufacturing sector continues to struggle, with sales down 2.1 per cent from a year earlier, the biggest drop since 2016.

Also concerning is the uptick in the inventory to sales ratio to 1.54 in October, still resting at one of the highest levels since the financial crisis. The high level of inventories poses a risk to the sector if companies opt to draw on stockpiles instead of increase production.
