Your depressing to uplifting post ratio is way way way off. MC usually has all the doom and gloom side of things covered with his copy and pastes from DU. You're stealing the old mans thunder

He’s the new MC.  Poor thing.  He needs a new set of shoes and a dance partner.

Things are still looking pretty good around here but lets not pretend like something isnt going on behind the scenes here that we are not being told. The fed printed a trillion dollars for the repo market. Someone is getting bailed out, quietly. Interest rates are being cut. This is QE4 happening right now.

When have they ever predicted it correctly?  Guys that can time the markets are worth their weight in gold, problem is most are not, less than 0.01% might get it right, but that not who's managing your wealth now is it?

I have 10 years before I start drawing down on retirement, nothing that happens between now and then will in any way affect that.

Are you referencing one Spyder S+P 500 ETF as your basis, because thats what SPY is a symbol of.  And you must have the deluxe Cracker Jack Financial tool, cuz the ones I have show YOY margins UP, whether its SPY or the S+P 500

Source:. Compustat, FactSet, Standard & Poors, JP Morgan.

It was just a joke try and relax.  Just adding a little perspective from someone who’s actually in the business, sorry to rain on your rain clouds.  Anyone can pick out some negative indications and think its all gonna come crashing down.  We’re so far off from 2009 its not even funny, and we managed to recover from that.  Unless someone is within a couple years of retirement, altering a long term investment strategy in this climate is just not “best practice”.  :bc:
