Harper told them to get fucked so after Trudeau was elected, SNC approached Trudeau with the same request. a DPA agreement. such an agreement did not exist in Canadian law at the time, so Trudeau snuck it through in a budget bill, at the direct request of SNC, as per the commissions report Then, Trudeau wanted the acting AG to use the new law to let SNC off the hook. The AG looked at the case and found the same thing Harper found. SNC should go get fucked. the AG resisted continual pressure to change her mind even when told “were going to get this done one way or another”. when she refused again, she was removed from the position and replaced. These are all things which Trudeau continually denied the entire time, but was all found to be true by the ethics commission the RCMP just interviewed the ex AG over the matter, but Trudeau refuses to waive confidentiality so that effectively stopped the rcmp’s investigation BuT cOnSeRvAtIvEs WoUlD hAvE dOnE tHe SaMe 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
