I shit canned the stupid FAR. Was about 2" to short and I wasn't about to pay $114 for the extensions, when I don't really care for it anyway. The 3 positions is ok, but I didn't see myself ever using it anyway. This is the old style riser from the ZX-XS Had it in the garage from my brothers '18 Renegade that he smashed last year with 96 miles on it. As you can see , the riser itself is 100% on the steering post. And the clamps are well over 3/4 on the post. It will work just fine. The bar "pad" from the XS style won't wort because the wiring looms are a little bit different than the G4s and it was to loose. I figured it would fly off eventually. So I did a little thinking and remembered the Rev style have the buttons on them and I happened to have one of those on the shelf. Put it in and it worked perfect. Then my buddy said to me "to bad the letters aren't red". Thanks dickhead But then I remembered, they did make some red Revs. Thinking to myself "I Wonder if this bar pad ever came with red letters on any of those red Revs they made". Did a little bit of looking online and sure enough, '07 MachZ X and a couple of the Summits that year were also red. He’s not much of a wrench but insisted on studding his own sled. Told him he could use my garage and I’d have his back on the process. My old mechanic hands hurt even just watching now. But he did it. I had the Golf Channel on for him and had an extra Delrin washer so I added it into his Boss secondary.
