Record fires in the Amazon. “The lungs of the planet. “

Nothing to see here

What does that have to do with anything ? You think it burst into flames because it's so hot ??

I went thru the weatheroffice.gc site yesterday and only one single day in July was the hottest for Toronto in 2019 and it was under 31C. Ridiculous

“Global warming”.

But yes it has been cooler in Ontario. Please ignore that we get 100 year floods and record forest fires regularly.

This Spring's floods caused by a longer and colder winter than average with above above snowfall that Global Warming Idiots ignored ? Those floods ??

Right from your own article.

"The fires are largely linked to people clearing out the land for farming or ranching"

Personally I thought our summer was average to below average.  July was up a bit but June was not warm and August has been super.   Next 7 days hardly a temp above 80.

"People" refers to humans, fyi.

You mean like," Man made global warming"?    As in human activity putting the future of our planet in danger?

Naaah that's too complicated for this crew.

Yuppers!  Humans caused the fire which means less CO2 to O2 converting trees, which means higher future CO2 levels - due to humans.  It’s good fo muh crops cuz greenhouses!!!

They have JT on their side. That should be their first clue. Actually 97% of scientists telling them so was their first clue.

It regrows almost instantly and starts making 02

and vigorous new growth soaks up a pile of carbon

  1,000 times more than 20% of the oxygen.  :lol2:   Is that what you saw from your helicopter?  Or did you learn that at the Zambo/Momo eat shit and talk shit symposium?

So 20% of the world's oxygen is gone because the earth's lungs have burst into flames due to Global Warming, here's a pic of a dead armadillo as proof.

Funny how your beloved JT did nothing, in fact he turned down help to put out the Fort McMurray fire but that's OK. You were busy rubbing 1 out holding his poster in one hand...

That phrase must mean something different where you come from.  Is that a metric thing?

From what I've read, it would take decades to rebuild a robust canopy sufficient to retain the sort of humidity that helps prevent these kinds of fires from getting out of control.  Plus, even if it did grow back, humans would probably just burn that down too.  It'll probably turn into more of a savanna rather than go back to rainforest.  Ooh, new business concept for chain theme restaurant, Savanna Café!!!

Growth starts basically immediately, starts producing 02 and absorbs a pile of carbon on the process

its not like it has to reach full maturity and then starts producing 02 and then starts absorbing carbon. That’s not how any of this works
