Complaint: Woman smears cars with peanut butter in Trump protest Published On: Oct 18 2016 08:31:25 PM CDT AMHERST JUNCTION, Wis. - An Amherst Junction woman was arrested Monday for allegedly smearing peanut butter on 30 vehicles to protest what she thought was a Trump rally. Christin Ferguson, 32, was arrested Monday after disrupting what was actually a meeting of the Tomorrow River Conservation Club, police said. According to a criminal complaint obtained by the Stevens Point City Times, Ferguson went into the meeting in the 3900 block of Second Street in Amherst Junction around 9:30 p.m. She was holding a jar of peanut butter and yelling at the club members about how much she hated presidential candidate Donald Trump. After being asked to leave the meeting, Ferguson smeared peanut butter on 30 vehicles, according to the complaint. When Portage County sheriff’s deputies tried to question Ferguson, a man at the apartment claimed she had been home all night and couldn’t have been involved, according to the complaint. While talking to the deputy, Ferguson was repeatedly licking her fingers, indicating the presence of an edible substance, the deputy said in the complaint. After being identified by someone at the meeting, Ferguson admitted to crashing the meeting and smearing vehicles with peanut butter, officials said. The complaint said when she was asked why she did it, Ferguson became very emotional and talked about how much she loved Hillary Clinton and hated Donald Trump. “Peanut buttering is better than firebombing, and Trump plans on firebombing everybody in other countries,” she said, according to the complaint.
