If properly trained they would need to use deadly force in that video. But fucking him up a bit was definitely warranted. At least while he was resisting. All the training in the world isn't gonna help much in overpowering someone larger and stronger than them, or really...just more will to escape. Even if they got the first "hold" on them. Didn't the guy in the video have one of his hands cuffed? I rest my case. My "front yard" incident with an officer had him trying all that fancy shit too.
